There is a reason why he is "hot" right now.. it is because over the course of the season, it pays to take home teams, and avoid laying road chalk and also huge points on the best teams at home. In the first couple weeks, lines are not as sharp and anyone can lay double digits on the better teams and cover. Now lines are tightening, the best teams like UNC are laying close to 30 points, and the value isnt there. It will pay a lot more to follow now than it mightve a couple weeks ago in my opinion.

HD, what do you think of Butler (+8) at Xavier tomorrow?

Also Hofstra (-4) at home vs. Iona and St. Bonaventure (-2.5) at home vs. Niagara

Yeah, living here in SD I know quite a bit about the Torreros. They made a run to the 2nd round of the tournament last year and returned virtually EVERY starter they had. They were going to be a good team this year, then their PG Brandon Johnson went down. Johnson was probably their best player and NO QUESTION the team leader (both on and off the court). I'd go as far to say that he is as valuable to his team as nearly any player in the country. (If you've watched as many USD games as I have you would probably agree)

Great day HD. I'm glad I took the day off as that 3 by James would have put into another tail spin.

Indiana might be the worst team in Div I this year they looked horrible.

I was planning on backing the Vikings at any reasonable number. I was very surprised by the opening number, thought it would be around 4-5.
I've seen both on numerous occasions this year so have some knowledge and will probably attend this game in person.

I would grab the 8 now because I think it will go down. Be careful though, this is a quite different Kent team than the tough squads that Christian coached. This Kent team will continue to be more of a perimeter team and probably even more so with tyree Evans now in the rotation. The flashes lack the mental toughness and defensive toughness of the past. The Vikings will come out with confidence and have are much better in the paint with Tandy and Bullock. CSU also defends better.

Can't blame you for grabbing the 8 but I would not at all be surprised to CSU win by 10. I'll like the over if I get a reasonable number.
