no question that these 2, are 2 of the most highly skilled athletes in the history of sports . to turn a ball around that was just hit at you around 100 mph and send it back the way they do is mind boggling.

5 or 6 years from now the conversation about all time tennis greats will start and end with sampras , federer and nadal .

That was possibly the greatest sports event I have ever watched. This is why I don't understand how people don't enjoy watching tennis. That match will be 100x better than the Super Bowl this year, and I'm a huge football fan.

That was amazing. You could see how crushed Federer was in his post-game interview. Just not a happy man right now. He had his chance at the record books, but unfortunately there was nothing stopping Nadal. Well done Rafa, watch a match.

Very rarely do you say in Pro, neither side deserved to lose, this was the rare example. Just incredible tennis. I am glad I saw every point of that match.

What an amazing match! Tennis is a great sport. Two guys standing toe to toe with nowhere to hide. The level of intensity is much greater than in team sports. And still at the end they show a level of maturity and respect that is rarely seen in other sports.

That sheet was unreal. Between that and last month's US Open in golf I think I have seen athletes pushed to their limits.

Want to give props to the Nadal backers that were saying it was finally his time, I think without the rain he might of ended it quicker and in less dramatic fashion....However, no denying that was pretty close to a coinflip and either guy could've taken it....
