If you are serious as you say you are, you will lower your wager to $100 per game or not wager anymore until you find a steady job as you do not have a bankroll to be wagering $500 per game. Easier said than done. Real life when you can't pay the bills or buy food but hey you are an addictive gambler like all of us and need that daily fix/rush of wagering and being alive.
