In light of the current situation, I thought the following scene in "Two for the Money" was especially poignant and germane.

I firmly believe it applies to every gambler at one time or another. Thoughts? !/

Who wouldn'the want to root for this story? Every one of us in here is on a gambling forum for the same reason, basically. We love it. We would all love to make a living doing this. But seriously, it's impossible to root for this guy. Can anyone honestly say that he's a good person? Can you name one good trait about him? He's a drunk. He does drugs. He treats women like sh*t. He basically treats anyone else like sh*t who has the nerve to even question him. He's a racist. He claims to be educated, yet can't distinguish between there and their. He has massive anger issues. He blames everyone but himself. The list is endless.

Even if you looked past all of that and just were following for his gambling.. He's absolutely horrible at it. Terrible money management. His capping skills blow, too. Yet, he keeps coming on telling us how great he is as soon as he hits a couple of games in a row. Did you know that he might go perfect in the playoffs? I do, because he told me a lot in the forum and in his vids. As if being a horrible capper isn't bad enough, he doesn't even own up to it. Has he ever made a bad bet? He'll no! He's the best!! It's all bad luck, bad calls, bad coaching, bad family mojo, or bad karma. It is DEFINITELY not his fault.

I'll probably get invited to come fight CG after this, but it's a chance I'm willing to take. All of you nut huggers are comical. I love this post. Literally can't wait to read it every morning. But, for those of you who defend him, or worse yet, follow his picks, let me ask a question... Can you name one thing about this guy that makes you say to yourself " that's a good dude, right there"? Would you let him date your sister? Would you be friends with him? Would you let him work for you? I think we all know the answers.

I know nobody asked, but that's my 2 cents. I like people. I like underdog stories. He just makes it impossible to root for him.

I don't "know" this HCG character as well as the others in this thread, so my comments directed to him are on
a superficial basis. I don't wish him ill will. I don't know him in "real life" to form such an intense emotion.

Bottom line is I posted that "Two for the Money" video scene with the hopes HCG would view it and realize there's quite a bit
of truth in Walter Abrams' (Al Pacino's) soliloquy at that GA meeting. I really believes the premise proffered by Walter is accurate
and applies to HCG as well as the majority of Rx members.

If this video was already posted with nary of an acknowledgement by HCG, I'm genuinely perplexed and disappointed.

Well, I tried.

Anyway, it's probably best that I slip back in the shadows in this drama and let nature take it's course.

you maybe correct, but don't chase off the golden goose..all those things you mentioned many rx members are responsible for same time of issues. We all have over indulge a time or 10. This is not the pearly gates and you are not God, let the degenerate post in peace!

Hey CG...this bartending idea isnt as easy as it sounds in your head. In a place like Vegas that is very connected and who you know...your not gonna "graduate" after 3 weeks and be pouring drinks at a strip resort making hundreds of dollars a night in tips. I am not even sure if you could get a job bartending at a Chilli's in Henderson right away. You would probably have to wait or bus tables for a year before they put you behind the bar. Plus with the coke allegations and drunk videos I've seen I am not sure its the best environment for you bud. Whatever job you had back in NJ...try to find that in Nevada and bet on the side. After seeing his video I'm must write: HollywoodCG I see almost a spitting image of myself in your video.
I understand your frustration with multiple posters ragging you and asking for your plays. I understand you don't want to respond to text msgs. I get it all, I think we've all been there, hell I had a woman rag me about betting on Radwanska tonight, it was beyond annoying. Lucky for you CG you are still young much like me. If I had made the same trek/journey to NV I maybe on the streets, this sadly not a lie/fib. Gaming is a complete and utter sickness, why else would they call this board RX so we can get our scripts on the gaming. CG one thing you done with your video(s) is create somewhat of a legendary status....this my friend in itself has major marketability! You are known commodity here and in other boards. You are so known you could start a service and I'm pretty sure people would buy your plays. We all have good runs and bad runs. You can bounce back. Maybe you need a break or hobby. I play tennis.
