Semin Leaves Warm Up
Alexander Semin left the ice after the first five minutes of warm ups, which likely means he won't be playing tonight against the Devils.

Here are tonight's lines based on how the players looked during warm up.

Ovechkin-Backstrom-Kozlov
Fleischmann-Nylander-Clark
Laich-Steckel-Fehr
Brashear-Gordon-Bradley

Schultz-Green
Poti-Sloan
Erskine-Jurcina

Theodore

I w antedto take Ottawa tonight but they've shown nothing lately, the price is high, and the Islanders always play tough at home.

3 in 4 for Cbus.. Wild always tough at home. But honestly this price is out of whack.

why is minn such a big fav tonight?

and how do you feel about Ottawa?

from Bushay's thread...
Yeah, Leclaire sits tonight as well. And Backstrom is twice the goalie that they saw in Lalime last night not to mention the 3 in 4 travel.

Under is 4-0-2 in the last 6 meetings.
Under is 5-1-1 in the last 7 meetings in Minnesota.
Home team is 20-7-1 in the last 28 meetings.
Blue Jackets are 2-8 in the last 10 meetings in Minnesota.
Blue Jackets are 1-4 in the last 5 meetings.

Blue Jackets are 1-4 in their last 5 after scoring 5 goals or more in their previous game.

I like the Wild a lot tonight. Problem is...so do the bookies.

me too moose...I'm not backing off this game. Washington is loaded. Look for a big game from AO...Backstrom and Nylander

I watched the better part of the 1st period the other night against Carolina and the Caps played that period like they were shot out of a cannon. Their energy was exhausting.

I got right in with interest in both -1.5 (+210 this afternoon) and -110 about 20 minutes ago

Correct...Unfortunately MINN in their roles don't show good indication for beating -1.5, so this should be a Pass

But to bug you further, Jackets are an even more lowly 4-19 when playing AWAY following a 4+ goal game, including only one win in last 12

The primary role in which I examined MINN was Playing Home following a game Allowing 1goal or less

They actually fare well at 10-5 going back to beginning of last season, but beat the -1.5 in only three of those 15

teams must know when i bet on them i swear....

1-0 NJ

Kinda spooky I admit. Was watching CentreIce and they zoomed in on NewJersey bench and the players were whispering down the line to each other one by one, "M--- (some M-word...now I know) put a bet on Washington. Pass It On"

I dug a little deeper a minute ago and pulled this up from their previous game this season in which the Wild won 2-1 at home again as a -180 fav.

Seems the BJ's were robbed of a game tying goal by Nash in the waining seconds and felt a bit cheated.

"After Minnesota nearly scored an empty-netter in the final minute, the Blue Jackets brought the puck back the other way and Christian Backman fired a desperation shot from just inside the blue line. Nash was in perfect position about 15 feet from the goal, but he raised his stick to direct it past Backstrom and prompt the review.

The NHL had all 30 teams in action Saturday, so the video review room in Toronto was overworked. According to a blog post on the league's official Web site, off-ice officials deemed the evidence inconclusive. So the decision was sent back to Minnesota, and the referee who made the initial call was overruled by his three colleagues.

Columbus coach Ken Hitchcock tersely dismissed the situation.

"Our description of it and our view on the video is different than the referee's, so what does it matter?" he said. "It's not a goal. They won the hockey game."

Man I hate hearing shit like this. Especially after I got my bet down.
