Toronto is awful; I'm glad I don't live there. Vancouver is where it's at, although there's a paucity of Sens fans (still more than in Toronto)

It has to be 30+ years that tbe Leafs are off three times on a Saturday night.

First they replace the HNIC theme song for something ridiculous and now Saturday night without the Leafs is not the same either (although i wouldn't watch them unless I had action).

Gee, and Leafs fans wonder why a lot of fans in the rest of the country are sick of that team? Oh please CBC, please keep showing us the Chicago Cubs of the NHL. I mean, they haven't won since 2 years prior to the moon landing" model franchise but should be the prime time Saturday game 95% of the season lol.

As far as the theme song goes, you'd prefer a taxpayer funded entity like CBC be held hostage to pay escalating rights to a song? CBC did the right thing, and now TSN milks it to the point where the song has become annoying anyway. HNIC theme to promote the world juniors...an upcoming womans hockey promo...

To keep the thread on topic though, I liked the ballsy call by Vic on Wings and thought it was a great spot call. I liked (but didn't bet) the over since these "this might be a conference final playoff preview" games tend to be end to end.

Thanks Bushay...That's closer to what I'm looking for. The opening sounds good but the ending is kind of abrupt and funky.
