The stats clearly favor the Canes., I think the home team is 11-2 in game 7s of the stanley cup final. A part of me says Canes but my gut feeling is that is Emonton scores 1st they will win. I made a small play on EDM scores 1st @5dimes and EDM for the game.
I know a lot of people here don't bet hockey...so make sure you are making the wager you want. Its real easy to make the wrong wager by accident and find out later that you lost..
For example if you want Car to win make sure that you didn't accidently bet on CAR
-' 1st 60 min, because if it goes to overtime you just lost $$... and be careful w/ totals, make sure to read the rules at the book you play...JMO

OK, I have read the thoughts provided by our hockey experts and have made a decision based on the input which has been much appreciated. Appears that on a neutral rink, this game would be a pick and the momentum and confidence certainly is on the side of the Oilers. But this is a Game 7 and although the home team may have an advantage, the -154 is still too steep and the value lies with the Oilers at +144. That being said, however, the total intrigues me more, as in a Game 7, protection, care and defense are often the keys to success and noticing Carolina has been scoreless the last 4 periods plus overtime has caught my attention and don't believe that is a fluke, but perhaps an adjustment by the Oiler defense. Hence,

IF the Oilers win this game.....
CHRIS PRONGER, is an ABSOLUTE LOCK to win the Conn Smythe at odds of +200....
the only way this woudnt occur would be if Pisani gets a Hat-rick or another overtime or huge game winning goal, then he might get it.....
If Carolina wins the game it will be BRINDAMOUR at odds of +150, or perhaps Cam Ward if he steals the game.

What happened to all this momentum people were absolutely convinced the Oilers would have??? Trust me predicting momentum in hockey will just make you pull your hair out. Momentum is built play-by-play in hockey. Oilers could get it back with a goal, but this just looks like the better team slowly fitting the noose.
