My only other suggestion is we have a combination NHL and NBA contest and extend the deadline to the start of the NBA season. Leave the option up to the player which lines he wants to play... 15 plays per week (EXACTLY), 5 play max per day, one of the 15 plays must be either a 2-Team Parlay or a 2-Unit Best Bet on any one play. This would all be incorporated into a Triple Elimination Tournament as was the originally scheduled format.

Lines would be limited to Sides (PL), Money Lines and Totals for both sports.

Ok here's the offer...

We have 6 signed up, 2 have paid. ($200 entry)

Assuming we can get the other 4 paid up, would you guys be hip to a 12 week "Handicap w/Most Units Wins" format with winner takes all? We would start next Monday, Nov 1st and go to the All-Star break: Thursday, Jan 26th. NHL Only, 5 Play Max per day, at least 200 plays for the season, no days off, PL, ML and Total Goals available, with OT included only. Starting Jan 1st, picks hidden until deadline each day or until all in.
