IS THE NUGGET PUTTING UP THE $500,000 REGARDLESS OF THE NUMBER OF ENTRIES??????

YOU SAID THE NUGGET WAS HAVING TROUBLE GETTING THE 100 PLAYERS.... WILL THEY STILL PAY $250,000 FOR FIRST PLACE IF THEY ONLY HAVE SAY 30-50???

Smokey, the way the rules are written...it's $500,000 guaranteed purse with $250,000 for first regardless of number of entries...if more than 100 (which would be $500,000), they'll increase prizes.

I'm still available to proxy, too (tuleythetout@hotmail.com)...as of yesterday, Hilton at 71 entries...slightly ahead of last year at this time, though the flood will come in before the Aug. 29 early-bird deadline, plus extra week after Labor Day before season starts so that will help, too. I put over/under at 400 entries.

Well, that is an easy question.

I'm broke, and the 58.3% was achieved in a contest where each guy picked 5 sides/totals every week, and the big prize was only $400.

I will post my 5 picks in the contest (which should be worth at least $1200 this year) here every week. Hopefully I will do even better than last year.

Eibon...that's everyone's goal (to do even better)...that's why I tell everyone that if you don't take a chance in contests like these, you risk not maximizing your profits when you have a great year...best of luck.

Smokey...be sure to get in before Aug. 29 if you care about the free $10,000 mini-contest over the last three weeks of the season (I went 12-3 with three other guys last year and we won $2,500 apiece to recoup our entry fees and then some).

For everyone...I'm still here and not going anywhere if you need a reliable proxy who is going to be going to the Hilton and Nugget every week rain or shine.

Thanks. But I did 57% the year before as well in the same type of contest.

I'm telling you, if someone invests in me they would be making a wise choice. But if you don't want to take my word for it, you can see my 5 selections on here every week.
