It's not so much bashing the school as it is bashing Pavian, who fancies Puget Sound to be the Alaskan extension of the Ivy Leagues.

Joe doesn't like academia's liberal bent. I don't think I've ever seen him advocate people passing up a college education. Maybe I missed it.

I'm not going to take issue with someone saying that an art history degree, or a philosophy degree isn't worth the money because it isn't worth the money. Your career options become very limited.
