Here is an interesting take on Hillary as Secretary of State.

5 highlights from Clinton’s tenure:

1. People-to-People Diplomacy

Clinton understands the importance of strengthening ties with friends and allies while simultaneously engaging adversaries.

2. The Importance of Economics

Clinton articulated a new vision of Economic Statecraft that made domestic economic growth – e.g. helping U.S. companies win business overseas.

3. Restoring American Credibility (My favorite)

Building on people-to-people diplomacy, Clinton has promoted U.S. values in a firm but respectful way that restored international faith in the U.S. that eroded during the Bush administration.

4. Diplomacy is National Security

The now iconic picture of senior officials gathered in the Situation Room during the Osama Bin Laden raid will forever memorialize one of the principal national security achievements of the first Obama administration. Clinton supported the raid and was a key player in adjusting U.S.-Pakistan relations afterwards.

5. Texts From Hillary

In 2012, Clinton became an internet sensation because of a series of memes depicting her having fictitious, comical text exchanges with other celebrities while wearing her trademark sunglasses.

As Hillary Clinton continues her unofficial campaign for President, one sticky question keeps coming up: What exactly did you do while acting as Secretary of State? Hillary has been dodging this question with more skill than Neo avoided bullets in The Matrix, but since she figures she is “The One” she has finally decided face her legacy. In an interview with National Public Radio the democratic hopeful gives a rundown of all of her accomplishments as America’s top diplomat.

The fist thing Clinton feels she accomplished was restoring America’s standing in the world. I know what you’re thinking: under the Obama administration, the US has seen our international stock drop dramatically, but Hillary sees it differently:

The most important thing I did was to help restore America’s leadership in the world. That was my biggest challenge. It was why the president asked me to be secretary of state.

She doesn’t actually say how she restored America’s leadership in the world and history tells us that she actually never did this. Accomplishment #1 is either a lie or the delusion of a slightly brain damaged individual, but surely there must be successes, right?

The second thing Clinton lists as an accomplishment is that she and Obama agreed on many things:

On practically everything, the president and I agreed.

So being a “yes man” is an accomplishment? Actually, in the Obama administration it is. The President is not fond of dissent, so agreeing with him is the only way to keep your job.

But it was in the disagreeing with Obama where Clinton really showed her stuff. You see she wanted a tougher deal in the Bergdahl swap. However, she still supports the descision to trade 5 Taliban fighters for a deserter:

I left, and I’m not going to second-guess the decision that was made. As I understand, it was a decision backed by the State Department, the Defense Department and the intelligence community.

In essence, she is saying she would have made the same deal if she hadn’t quit. This is not going very well for Clinton, maybe there are other areas in which she made a difference as Secretary of State.

It turns out there is: Benghazi. Don’t laugh, she’s serious:

We have to keep learning. What can we do to protect Americans, particularly, from my perspective, our diplomats and development experts? They don’t go armed into these places that are dangerous. They don’t have a military contingent to back them up. They are there representing the United States. And some would say, ‘We shouldn’t be in dangerous places.’ Well, there are so many dangerous places in the world right now that that would eliminate a lot of the important work that America needs to be doing. And it’s just not in our DNA. We’re not the kind of place that retreats in the face of danger. We need to be prudent and take necessary precautions. But we need to be present.

Uh, what? Never mind this one. You’ll go insane trying to figure out what the hell she’s talking about.

Clinton says that she could have really accomplished a lot if it weren’t for that darned Vladimir Putin. She does claim success in that she once criticized the Russian President:

I took Putin on very early when I criticized the parliamentary elections that were held in 2011 as being irregular.

Wow, no really, just wow. To sum up: Hillary’s accomplishments as Secretary of State are: her imagination, her loyalty to an ineffective president, a bad deal she didn’t do but probably would have, learning that letting Americans die and lying about it is bad, and making a comment about a world leader. I’m sold. She’s clearly a juggernaut of international diplomacy.

Hillary says, “I’m experienced enough to know that political campaigns are about the future, not the past.”

She better hope that is true because her past is one of ineptness, untruthfulness, and lawlessness.

This fucking moron actually said being First Lady and sponsoring a bill that she couldn't convince her colleagues to pass are "accomplishments"!

LMFAO.

Again, you can not parody how dumb this vittard is. You really can't.

Let's take a closer look at her "accomplishments" as SoS

- Iraq descends from "Stable & Self Reliant" to ISIS barnstorming the country chopping heads off
-Syria: Hillary's policy of intervention leads to an anti-US regime and 200,000+ dead
-Benghazi.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's lead is wilting against leading Republican presidential candidates in three critical swing states, Colorado, Iowa and Virginia, and she finds herself in a close race with U.S. Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky in each state, according to a Quinnipiac University Swing State Poll released today. In head-to-head matchups, every Republican candidate effectively ties her in Colorado and almost all Republicans effectively tie her in Iowa.
...

"Ominous for Hillary Clinton is the broad scope of the movement today compared to her showing in Quinnipiac University's mid-February survey. It isn't just one or two Republicans who are stepping up; it's virtually the entire GOP field that is running better against her.
"That's why it is difficult to see Secretary Clinton's slippage as anything other than a further toll on her image from the furor over her e-mail."

Remember, the idiot who started this thread assured us nobody, that is not 1 single person, will vote against Hillary because of the email issue.

The 2000 Maverick John McCain, yes. I was supporting him and would have voted for him. Not the 2008 sellout, War Monger version.

His first major decision as a candidate was choosing Sarah palin. Imagine that woman being one McCain bad meal away from the Oval Office

McCain is still around and kicking, and on the other coin.... Obama is one bad meal away from Biden.....

So you are saying age was the biggest factor? Or just that Palin was?
