How do you think your ancestors got to America?

Not sure about every one else's but mine came through Ellis Island from Italy. I have been there to see the entry logs. My great grandfather and his siblings were quarantined for 2 months because there was an eye infection outbreak on the boat in which he sailed. The family settled in an Italian neighborhood outside of Boston where he eventually found a job in a factory. He never owned car but walked to work every day. Eventually married and had 6 kids and never missed a day of work.

I hear people ask this question a lot. There is a legal way to enter the country. Either enforce the laws on the books or change them. It is an insult to all Americans who went through the process legally.
