Trump, on a good day, polls 30% of those. Furthermore, he is crowing about how, if he went "rogue," 68% of his stooges would follow. Let's be generous and say the 28% should be 30%, and that Trump's 68% should be 70%. 30% of the 30% who ID themselves as GOP is 9%, and 70% THAT is 6.3%. What'd that idiot Nader get when he ran? 3%? So, Trump is Ralph Nader on steroids. That isn't QUITE good enough, I'm afraid, although it would do wonders for Hillary, not that she will need it. Look at all the groups Trump has "befriended:"

If the voters can elect Obama what makes you think the can’t elect Trump? We have a long way to go before the election. A couple of more terrorists attacks and perhaps a market correction and all the experts will be scratching their heads and running for the door.

I'll be the first to admit that Trump has been able to hang around longer than I expected. He's certainly been able to rally some very angry people who feel they have been marginalized by today's politicians. I'm still nearly positive it's not going to be enough to win him a general election but I no longer would be shocked to see him win the primary.

I won't "right" in Sanders if it's Trump/Hillary, but it'll be between Hillary and 3rd party for me.
