Pretty good stuff, especially the part around 5 min. where he points out that 3, count 'em, THREE, Republicans exonerated her, albeit unwillingly: Ken Starr, Ken Gowdy, and James Comey. EAT it, Righty bitches!!!

Btw, what has Rump said about the Muslim father who publicly bitch slapped him?

Dad of slain Muslim U.S. soldier to Trump: 'You have have sacrificed nothing'

The father of a Muslim American solider killed in Iraq slammed Donald Trump for his threats to tighten U.S. borders by preventing Muslims from entering the country.

Khizr Khan, whose son Humayun Khan, 27, was a Muslim American and captain in the U.S. Army when he was killed by a suicide bomber in Iraq in 2004, had some harsh words for Republican nominee Donald Trump and his so-called Muslim ban.

"If it was up to Donald Trump, he never would have even been in America," Khan said, adding that Trump "consistently smears" the character of Muslims, women, judges and leaders in his own party.
"He vows to build walls and ban us from this country. Donald Trump, you're asking Americans to trust you with their future. Let me ask you, have you even read the United States Constitution?" he said, volunteering to lend Trump his copy and pointing to provisions for liberty and equal protection under law.

Khan also asked Trump to visit Arlington National Cemetery to view the graves of all the fallen service members. "You will see all faiths, genders, and ethnicities," he said.

"You have have sacrificed nothing! And no one," he exclaimed. "We cannot solve our problems by building walls. Sowing division. We are stronger together. And we will keep getting stronger when Hillary Clinton becomes our president."
The #NeverTrump faction quickly weighed in. But are they now Clinton voters?

This guy and his wife were great on O'Donnell, will be on CNN Monday, and will be a big asset to the Clinton Campaign in the short term, at least. He's everything the Idiot Drumpf and his Islamaphobe racists can't recognize about America. Sacrifice, Bravery, Dignity, Inclusion.

NATO commander agrees members should pay up

By JAMIE MCINTYRE

Amid the controversy over Donald Trump's demand that NATO nations meet their financial obligations before they expect the United States to defend them, NATO's top commander says he agrees it's important for alliance members to pay their bills.
In an interview at the Aspen Security Forum, Army Gen. Curtis Scaparrotti said it's something he regularly discusses with other countries.

"What I tell them typically is that look, we have a people and a Congress with a tough budget as well," Scaparrotti said Thursday night. "So as a leader of another country you have to put your share into this, you have to do that because when I go back to testify to Congress I get asked these questions."

Pressuring NATO members to meet their commitments is a position Trump has not backed off of, despite criticism from Democrats and some national security experts, who argue it sends the wrong message and could embolden Russian President Vladimir Putin, who has already seized territory in Ukraine, which is not a NATO member.

Speaking in Miami Wednesday, Trump said, "I think NATO's great. But it's got to be modernized, and countries that we're protecting have to pay what they're supposed to be paying."

Scaparrotti, NATO's supreme commander, says as of now only five of the 28 NATO nations are meeting their pledge to spend at least 2 percent of their gross domestic product on defense.
They also are supposed to spend 20 percent of that on major weapons systems and equipment.

Only three countries have met that goal: the U.S., the United Kingdom and Poland. Two more, Greece and Estonia, spend 2 percent on defense, but not 20 percent on major systems.
Without mentioning his name, Scaparrotti agreed with Trump's point that without all countries in the alliance paying their fair share, it can't be militarily effective.

"It's very important," he said of the need for members to provide adequate funding for the alliance. "Without it we're not going to outpace Russia's modernization. We've got to have that in order to provide a credible force."
But Scaparrotti stopped short of saying the commitment to defend any NATO nation should be used as leverage to induce payments.

He called says the U.S. commitment to Article 5 of the NATO charter, which specifies an attack on one member is an attack on all, must be "ironclad" and that member countries should not be in doubt about that.

"One thing they need to know is that they can count on the United States to do what we say we're going to do," Scaparrotti said.

Julian Assange confirms Wikileaks has more material related to Hillary Clinton's campaign - and admits publication of bombshell DNC emails was timed to coincide with the convention

Assange (pictured) spoke to Anderson Cooper on Friday night, just days after the publication of leaked emails plunged the DNC into chaos and prompted Debbie Wasserman Schultz's resignation.

July 30, 2016, 04:38 pm [h=1]Trump draws backlash for comments on slain soldier's father[/h]
Donald Trump is facing backlash from both sides of the aisle for attacking Khizr Khan, the father of a U.S. soldier killed in Iraq that strongly rebuked Trump last week at the Democratic convention.
A spokeswoman for Speaker Paul Ryan Saturday responded to Trump's comments, reaffirming the Speaker's distaste for Trump's rhetoric about Muslims."The speaker has made clear many times that he rejects this idea, and himself has talked about how Muslim Americans have made the ultimate sacrifice for this country," AshLee Strong said in a statement to CBS News.
Trump lashed out at Khan over his moving speech last week at the Democratic National Convention, doubting whether he prepared his own remarks and firing off questions over his wife Ghazala's silence on stage.
In responding to Khan's comments that Trump has sacrificed nothing for his country, Trump said in an ABC News interview:
"I think I've made a lot of sacrifices. I work very, very hard. I've created thousands and thousands of jobs, tens of thousands of jobs, built great structures. I've had tremendous success. I think I've done a lot."
But some, both from Hillary Clinton's team and within the GOP, say Trump's comments are in poor taste.

The Democratic nominee put out a statement saluting the couple but steering clear of criticizing Trump's response.
"I was very moved to see Ghazala Khan stand bravely and with dignity support of her son on Thursday night. And I was very moved to hear her speak last night, bravely and with dignity, about her son’s life and the ultimate sacrifice he made for his country,” she said in a statement, referring to a TV appearance by Ghazala Khan Friday night.
“This is a time for all Americans to stand with the Khans, and with all the families whose children have died in service to our country. And it is a time to honor the sacrifice of Captain Khan and all the fallen. Captain Khan and his family represent the best of America, and we salute them.”
Others were more direct in their rebuke of Trump.
Tim Miller, a former communications director for Jeb Bush's presidential campaign, called Trump's comments "inhuman."
"Her son is dead. This is inhuman," he tweeted.

Kochs reject push to meet with Trump

Trump donors have been pushing the billionaire brothers to reconsider their lack of support for the GOP nominee.

Top Donald Trump donors tried to set up a meeting between the GOP presidential nominee and Charles Koch in Colorado Springs on Friday, but Koch aides rejected the entreaties, according to two Republicans with knowledge of the outreach.
Koch and his brother David Koch, who helm an influential network of advocacy groups and major conservative donors, have been sharply critical of Trump’s rhetoric and policy stances and have indicated they do not intend to support his campaign.

Trump in turn has blasted the Kochs and other major conservative donors as puppeteers to whom his GOP primary rivals were beholden, while he touted the independence from Big Money he said he achieved by largely self-financing his campaign.
But the billionaire first-time candidate has dialed back his anti-donor rhetoric since he clinched the GOP nomination and began active fundraising for a general election campaign in which his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, and her allies are expected to spend upward of $1.5 billion.

The billionaire industrialist Koch brothers, meanwhile, are being urged to reconsider their opposition to Trump by some of the donors in their network who are supporting the Manhattan tycoon, including Minnesota media mogul Stanley S. Hubbard and Dallas investor Ray Washburne, according to the two Republicans familiar with the outreach.

The Republicans, who travel in political finance circles, requested anonymity to discuss private talks. They said that the pro-Trump cohort had lobbied for a Friday meeting.
The Koch brothers and Trump are in town for separate events — Trump for a fundraiser, and the Kochs for the kickoff of the annual summer summit of their donor network at a tony resort in Colorado Springs.
But the Republicans familiar with the push said top Koch aides rejected the idea of a meeting.
“It is not going to happen,” said one of the Republicans, adding that the Kochs appear unlikely to back away from their repeated declarations that they don’t plan to spend any money in the presidential race, and will instead refocus their spending down ballot.
Washburne, who is helping to lead Trump’s fundraising effort, did not respond to requests for a comment. The Trump campaign also did not respond to a request for comment.

Another Trump donor who participates in Koch summits, Doug Deason, told Reuters that he was also pushing for a meeting, explaining, “We think it’s really important that Donald convince Charles he’s the right guy, and for Charles to influence Donald’s policies.”
James Davis, a spokesman for the Koch-backed group Freedom Partners Chamber of Commerce, which is organizing the Colorado Springs summit, said that there is no meeting planned between Trump and the Kochs.
But he pointed out that a top Koch lawyer, Mark Holden, had met earlier in New York with Trump campaign staff.

“Our team has met with them before to discuss the issues that we care about and helping people improve their lives,” Davis said, adding, however, that the network’s focus “remains on the Senate.”
The Minnesota media billionaire Hubbard, a longtime member of the Koch donor network, initially opposed Trump, but has come around, and said he’ll urge the Kochs to do the same when he sees them this weekend in Colorado Springs.
“Neither one of them [Clinton or Trump] are my cup of tea, but sometimes you bite your tongue and you choose the best of two bad choices,” said Hubbard, who has donated $100,000 to a pro-Trump super PAC. “I think it is time that we get behind Trump because of all the important things such as Supreme Court appointments, which are crucial,” he said, adding that he was aware of the efforts to get the Kochs to meet with Trump.
The network aims to spend hundreds of millions of dollars in the run-up to Election Day, and it would bea significant boost if it decided to support Trump, who is being substantially outspent by Clinton and her allies.
But Davis earlier this month reiterated the network’s intent to sit out the race, even after Trump tapped as his vice presidential running mate Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, a favorite of the Kochs and their donor network.

Pence has appeared at several Koch summits over the years. And, prior to joining Trump’s ticket, he had been scheduled to make an appearance in Colorado Springs this weekend. But he backed out of the appearance, citing campaign responsibilities.
That prompted head scratching in GOP finance circles, since Pence’s deep ties to the Kochs and other major conservative benefactors were considered among his strengths as a vice presidential candidate.
