Trump's true party are the silent majority, who have had enough of the sick duopoly that have brought the US to its knees. He will round up millions more voters from both camps if he goes it alone.

In other words, I don't need you, I have the real people of America backing me. T2016

No one outside the Obama speechwriting team supposes that gun control would impress maniacal terrorists or convince them to accept America's commitment to the lovey-dovey resolution of grievances. The death toll in Paris last year from the great Islamic onslaught was nearly three times that in Orlando, in spite of France's far stricter gun laws.Unity and love seem likelier themes for funeral orations than for military planning exercises of the sort Trump seems to think should be underway, with ISIS as targets.

Americans saw Donald Trump acting presidential—and they didn't like it. They really didn't like it.

Every now and then, at critical moments, the American people actually pay attention. Following the massacre in Orlando, those who tuned in to President Obama’s detailed and reasoned approach to dealing with such events gave his speech a +10 net response (44 approve, 34 disapprove) according to a new CBS News poll. Hillary Clinton’s speech, which overlapped the president’s, was seen by many fewer people, but still rated +2 (36 approve, 34 disapprove).
But Donald Trump’s unhinged tirade in which he blamed immigrants, Muslims, Hillary, and President Obama for everything that’s gone wrong since the beginning of time, drew the most definitive public response.
Trump Response to Orlando
Approve25%
Disapprove51%

A -26% net approval rating. That’s something that would make even Republicans in Congress wince. If you’re wondering why Trump’s poll numbers are absolutely crashing, it’s because America got a chance to see how he would handle a crisis … and they didn’t like it.
This wasn’t a 3 AM call. Trump had time to put together his response to what happened at Pulse and do it in a way that explained his actual strategy for preventing such horrors in the future. Instead, he delivered to the American people a clear insight into his conspiracy theory-driven, bigoted, and deeply un-American soul. In a moment where there was an opportunity to provide leadership, Trump delivered hatred.
This was a test. He failed.

You’re probably right. I think he already said fuck once at a speech somewhere. But what will happen is those who are against him will condemn it and those who are for him will cheer. He was right when he said he could shoot someone in the streets of NY and it wouldn’t matter.

So far he’s made all the right moves. I don’t see that stopping. It’s obvious he’s not a politician and I think that’s his biggest asset. He connects with the average Joe blow.

Republicans are right to freak out: Donald Trump is extremely unpopular

The favorability bounce Donald Trump got from sewing up the Republican presidential nomination appears to be over. In mid-May, Trump was underwater by barely more than 20 points—a disaster for most politicians, but an improvement for Trump. Now the percent of people with unfavorable views of Trump is on the rise again, and by a lot, if a new Washington Post/ABC News poll is a harbinger: It finds that “70 percent of Americans have an unfavorable view of Trump, including a 56 percent majority who feel this way ’strongly.’” Perhaps most significantly, he’s suffering with groups that were supposed to help him:
Trump's net favorable rating (favorable minus unfavorable) among non-college whites has flipped from a plus-14 in May to slightly negative minus-7 in the latest survey. Among independents, Trump's net rating has shifted from from -19 last month to -38 in the latest survey, returning him to roughly the same standing as in April (-37).
This probably shouldn’t be a surprise—it seems like if you polled congressional Republicans, Trump’s favorability would be tanking there, too.
Trump’s unfavorable rating was on the rise even before this poll, so we’ll see if it’s the beginning of a massive collapse for him. The poll was conducted as the controversy over Trump’s attacks on Judge Gonzalo Curiel erupted, but before the Orlando mass shooting. So as more polls come out, we’ll see if Politico's right that Orlando is Trump’s “terrain” and will strengthen his hand.

Washington (CNN)A prominent gay Republican is coordinating an effort to mobilize a coalition of conservative lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) voters in support of Donald Trump, CNN has learned, a project that has intensified in the wake of a terrorist attack at a gay club in Orlando, Florida.

Chris Barron, the former president of the now-defunct gay conservative group GOProud, was recently a vocal Trump critic, but now is circulating a letter among like-minded members of the LGBT community, arguing that Republican Trump will better-suited to protect them from acts of extremism as president than Democrat Hillary Clinton.
"I have no doubt that Donald Trump would be better for LGBT Americans," Barron said in an interview with CNN. "Hillary Clinton wants to continue a reckless foreign policy that has made the world less safe for all Americans, including LGBT Americans. She can find plenty of time to crucify Christians in the U.S. for perceived anti-gay bias, but when we've got ISIS throwing gay people off of buildings, when we have Muslim states that are prescribing the death penalty for people who are gay, I would think this would be something that a friend of the LGBT community would be able to speak out on, and Hillary Clinton finds it unable to do so."

- JUNE 16TH, 2016 -
ONE YEAR AGO: THE START OF A MOVEMENT
stars.png
Dear

A year ago today, many of you joined me at Trump Tower in calling for real change in Washington, D.C. I am proud to say that with your support we are well on our way to Making America Great Again! Since the moment I rode down the escalator on June 16th, 2015 and decided to run for president, my campaign has been filled with nothing but excitement, dedication, and passion to change our country for the better – and this is only the beginning of our movement!
A_Escalator.png

Yesterday in Atlanta, Georgia we had thousands of loving supporters. Earlier in the campaign we had a record-setting rally in Mobile, Alabama with over 30,000 attendees who joined our movement to Make America Great Again. I am honored and proud to lead our fight to put America first. This past year, I have traveled this great country and met many incredible Americans at our rallies.

The Republican primary began with 17 experienced and talented candidates for president. Following the debate at the Ronald Reagan Library on September 16th, your overwhelming support showed that our campaign has the message that resonates with hard-working Americans and that the DC-centric way of thinking is no longer capable of leading our country.
A_Debate.png

My campaign has been one of honesty and substance. We have created much-needed dialogue around the important issues facing our country. You’ve seen my leadership in setting the agenda this whole political season on both sides of the aisle. If I weren't running for president we wouldn’t be talking about illegal immigration. We wouldn’t be talking about the drugs pouring in and the bad trade deals costing American jobs. We wouldn’t have called the terrorist attack in Orlando for what it is - radical Islamic terrorism.
A_TIME.png

The support of many wonderful Americans like you led to resounding victories in the Republican primary race, in which we beat the rigged political system and biased media with landslide victories. Our success began on February 9th with an emphatic win in New Hampshire and reached a high point with our victory in South Carolina on February 20th. We continued our success in Florida on March 15th followed by my home state of New York on April 19th – both huge turning points in our campaign. We had some tough losses along the way but with your support, we were able to bounce back and sweep the Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island primaries on April 26th, along with other monumental wins throughout the primary season. The highlight was our win in Indiana on May 3rd - which made us the presumptive Republican nominee!

The strong vote of confidence that the American voters have placed in our message of Making America Great Again has buoyed us to many victories and is truly heartwarming. While I am thankful for the phenomenal success we have enjoyed in the past year, it is just the beginning! I could not be more thrilled to be your presumptive Republican Presidential Nominee and to officially accept the GOP Nomination at the Convention in July. We must continue to strive towards beating Crooked Hillary in November and Making ALL of America Great Again!

Thank you again for your support.

Best Wishes,
