Trump sounding very presidential in this speech.

But he better look out, because the GOPe will start getting really mad. Maybe even mad enough to bring out the big guns and get someone to give a rebuttal speech. Someone who can really connect with the frustrated voters. Wait, I know! Maybe Bob Dole? Oh no! Or...gasp, John McCain?!

I still have my doubts about The Donald's sincerity. But I can't convey how much I'm enjoying the GOPe collectively shitting themselves. They deserve every ounce of this for standing by idly while the Stuttering Clusterfuck had free reign to continue implementing his shitty agenda. Fuck you, GOPe. You had your shot. It restores my faith in the public that there are consequences for standing there with your dicks in your hands and not delivering on your promises.

Another Hitler? How world leaders see Donald Trump

WASHINGTON — Foreign politicians are responding to Donald Trump's unvarnished world views with equally undiplomatic candor.
Some of his many detractors have compared him toAdolf Hitler, while a small group admires his blunt views and forceful personality.
Among the foreign politicians who have spoken out about the Republican presidential front-runner, only Russian President Vladimir Putin and far right-wing politicians who share Trump's anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim views have praised him.
Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto delivered one of the harshest rebukes Monday, telling the Excelsior newspaper that Trump's "strident tone" is reminiscent of dictators Benito Mussolini and Hitler, populists who rode a tide of economic discontent to absolute power.
"There have been episodes in the history of humanity, unfortunately, where these expressions, this strident rhetoric has only really been (a) very fateful stage in the history of mankind," he said.
Peña and other Mexican politicians are furious over Trump's vow to build a wall to keep Mexican migrants out of the United States — and make Mexico pay for it.
"I'm not going to pay for that (expletive) wall," former Mexican president Vicente Fox told Fusion's Jorge Ramos last month.
Clearly, the possibility of a Trump presidency has provoked "a feeling of desperation" in Mexico, said Bill Richardson, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.
It's not just Mexico worried about the prospect of a Trump presidency, said Richardson, former governor of New Mexico and former candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination.
Trump's promise to “Make America Great Again” represents an isolationist policy that reflects the frustration of many American voters, but it is a viewpoint that worries world leaders, Richardson told USA TODAY.
“The world laments that because, despite our faults, the world wants us to lead," Richardson said.

In Europe, which is coping with a migrant crisis, German Vice Chancellor Sigma Gabriel said that Trump and "all these right-wing populists are not only a threat to peace and social cohesion, but also to economic development." Gabriel lashed out in an interview with German publication Welt am Sonntag on Sunday.
In December, British Prime Minister David Cameron said Trump's remarks calling for a temporary ban on Muslims to the U.S. are "divisive, stupid and wrong." Some members of the British Parliament want to bar Trump from visiting their country.
In the Middle East, Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz al-Saud said Trump should withdraw from the U.S. race.

The pair got into a social media war in late January after Trump tweeted a photoshopped image of Fox News host Megyn Kelly standing next to the Saudi prince and claimed erroneously that the prince is co-owner of Fox News.
The Saudi prince, who is a minority investor in Fox News' parent company, complained about the image, pointing out that in the 1990s he helped bail Trump out of financial difficulties.

Trump also had a run-in with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The candidate called off a planned visit to Israel to meet Netanyahu after the Israeli leader criticized his plan to ban Muslim immigration to the United States.
Ecuador's leftist president, Rafael Correa, jabbed Trump, saying he would enjoy a Trump presidency because "it would be very bad for the United States."

“His discourse is so dumb, so basic, that it would ... help socialist politicians in Latin America, Correa told the Ecuadorian newspaper El Dia.
Putin, among the few to praise Trump, called the American business mogul "an outstanding and talented personality."
Other admirers include Jean-Marie Le Pen, former leader of France's far-right, anti-immigration party, the National Front.
"If I were American, I would vote Donald Trump," Le Pen tweeted.
And Geert Wilders, the anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim leader of the Dutch Freedom Party, tweeted that Trump would be "good for America, good for Europe. We need brave leaders."
Whether for or against Trump, world leaders should butt out of American politics, said Danielle Pletka, a Republican and foreign policy analyst at the American Enterprise Institute.
“It’s none of their bloody business,” said Pletka, who rejects Trump's worldview. “This is our election, not theirs.”

I'm exactly where you are.

I have had my doubts about Trump's motives from the very beginning but couldn't help but get caught up in the excitement watching him rip the GOPe to shreds.

That said, I just don't trust him. Every now and then he says something that makes me think we're all being played. What if his candidacy...what if this is all a ruse and he's a trojan horse for the Clintons? What if he wins the nomination, then does a a complete 180 and deliberately implodes during the general election?

Then what?

For all his bluster and theatrics, nobody has a clue what Trump will actually do once he gets into office.

The kapo loves Hitler as much as he loves Obama.

‘It’s been our misfortune to have the wrong religion,” Hitler complained to his pet architect Albert Speer. “Why did it have to be Christianity, with its meekness and flabbiness?” Islam was a Männerreligion—a “religion of men”—and hygienic too. The “soldiers of Islam” received a warrior’s heaven, “a real earthly paradise” with “houris” and “wine flowing.” This, Hitler argued, was much more suited to the “Germanic temperament” than the “Jewish filth and priestly twaddle” of Christianity.

Obama on Islam.

“The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam”

“The sweetest sound I know is the Muslim call to prayer”

“Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance.”

“Islam has always been part of America”

On Christianity.

“Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation”

“We do not consider ourselves a Christian nation.

WASHINGTON — Donald Trump scored decisive victories in Michigan and Mississippi Tuesday night, delivering a stinging rebuke to well-financed critics trying to block his road to the GOP presidential nomination.

Trump easily carried Michigan — a Rust Belt prize that adds to his diverse collection of wins — after a campaign where he vowed to claw back lost US auto jobs from Mexico and Asia.

Ohio Gov. John Kasich, who has staked his candidacy on performing well in the Midwest, was fighting for second place with Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.

In Mississippi, networks declared Trump the winner within an hour after the polls closed.

Trump also won the caucuses in Hawaii.

Exit polls showed that nine out of 10 voters in both states were either “dissatisfied” or “angry” with Washington, which Trump has emphasized.

I guess the voters didn’t listen to Mitt.

No it's not dude. It's fucking accurate, growing, and scary. Germany didn't see it coming either. Too many fools were blinded by the light of blame, and making Germany Great Again. The parallels are astonishing, and Drumpf has studied the playbook well. MUST READ: HIGH SCHOOL CLASSMATE DEFENDS THE CHARACTER OF DONALD J. TRUMP

This guy went to highschool with Trump:

A personal note from Peter Ticktin who knows the guy from high school: As a law firm, we at The Ticktin Law Group do not like to get involved in politics. As soon as we endorse one side, we risk alienating everyone on the other side. Also, our lawyers and staff are, themselves, on both sides. Politics is not our game. However, Justice is! If you saw a guy get publicly smeared, and you knew him well from the days you were friends and seniors together in high school, if you knew him to be a decent and honest man, would you want to say something? This is why I need to share what I know. I was aghast at watching last night’s debate. It was a set-up. The moderators, Cruz, and Rubio were all like little alligators trying to take a bite out of Trump. Yes, Donald Trump has had some failures, but he has been exceedingly successful. None of this came out. Instead, there was a general attack. Rubio simply makes up lies. He pretends that Trump has small hands and makes fun of him for something which isn’t even real. He pretends that Donald wets his pants, and makes fun of him, as though it was true, and then he calls Donald Trump a “Bully.” I am not suggesting that you should vote or not vote for anyone. I just need to defend a former friend who is being smeared. Like Donald Trump, I attended New York Military Academy (“NYMA”) for high school. In fact, in our senior year, together, Donald was my captain, and I was his 1st Platoon Sergeant. I sometimes joke that I ran his first company for him, Company “A.” People don’t really change much from the ages of 17 and 18, and I know this guy. I know him to be a good decent guy. We lived and breathed an Honor Code in those years. It wasn’t just a rule. It was our way of life. Neither Donald, nor any other cadet who graduated with us would ever lie, cheat, or steal from a fellow cadet. These values became irreversibly intertwined in the fabric of our personalities, of who we are. Of the 99 guys (no girls in those days) in our class, there is not one who I know who has a bad word to say about Donald Trump. Think of it. With all the jealousies which arise in high school and thereafter, with all the potential envy, not one of us has anything other than positive memories of this man. How could we? He was an “A” student, a top athlete, and as a leader, he was highly respected. We never feared him, yet we never wanted to disappoint him. He had our respect. He was never a bigot in any way, shape or form. He only hates those who hate. Of course he denounces the KKK. As to the discussion with the New York Times, it is his choice to release the ‘off the record’ remarks. However, if he does, it opens the door for all political opposition to make that demand for everyone, and that means that our press will never get those ‘off the record’ remarks which help them to understand the realities of the campaign. Moreover, the idea that Donald Trump confessed some alternate theory of his position is preposterous. Can anyone believe that all those NY Times reporters are walking around knowing some deep dark nasty secret about a guy who is seeking an endorsement? The Republican establishment is afraid of Donald Trump. Why? They are afraid that he will lose to Hillary. They don’t hate Donald. They hate her. They are so fearful that they fail to see that by expanding the base of voters for Trump, he is more likely to win. Watching the chorus of whiners, decriers, denigrators, and self-righteous put-down experts from so many directions, from Mit Romney, to Megyn Kelly, Little Mario, it has to make you wonder. Why? Why are so many people so angry with Donald Trump, that they are lying, name calling, ridiculing, and demeaning him as they do. Either they are afraid, or they know him to be evil. This is why I feel the need to speak out at this time. I know this man. He is a lot of things, but he is not evil. He is a decent honest guy who loves this country, and who is willing to sacrifice so much of what is left of his life, because he knows that this country needs to be fixed, and that it is going to require someone who can do the job. He just doesn’t see anything around him other than political hacks, so he is willing to take this huge responsibility. I’m not saying that he is the only one who can do the job. My point is simply as to his motivation and his goodness. This next decade is going to be one of major changes. We all see the climate changing, and the world food supply is getting lower. Our fish stock around the world is running low. Oil prices will cause countries to fail. The Middle East is beyond repair, and we have become weak and ineffective around the world. Donald Trump sees the issues and knows that he can assemble leaders who would have the best chance of fixing things. This is why he is running. He does not need it for his own aggrandizement. He doesn’t need another big jet or to take up residence in the White House. He just wants things to be fixed, and he knows that the politicians won’t fix anything. I knew Donald Trump and was close to him in our senior year in high school. I just want you to know that there is nothing to fear from him. His character is as good as it gets. He is a patriot, taking on a heroic task, and being thanked by massive abuse. If you want to see a true reflection of a man, look at his children. Need I say more?

Hitler's rise to power cannot be attributed to one event, but a mixture of factors including events happening outside Germany, the strengths of the Nazi party, and the weaknesses of other parties within Germany. Hitler used these factors to his advantage and in 1933 he legitimately gained power to become chancellor.

In 1929, the American Stock Exchange collapsed, and caused an economic depression [Economic depression: The slowing of economic activity, which usually results in high unemployment, a sharp drop in prices and a fall in production. ]. Americacalled in all its foreign loans, which destroyed Weimar Germany. Unemployment in Germany rose to 6 million.

The government did not know what to do. In July 1930 Chancellor Brüning cut government expenditure, wages and unemployment pay - the worst thing to do during a depression. He could not get the Reichstag to agree to his actions, soPresident Hindenburg used Article 48 to pass the measures by decree.

Anger and bitterness helped the Nazis to gain more support.

Many workers turned to communism, but this frightened wealthy businessmen, so they financed Hitler's campaigns.

Many middle-class people, alarmed by the obvious failure of democracy, decided that the country needed a strong government. Nationalists and racists blamed the Treaty of Versailles [Treaty of Versailles: The peace treaty signed by the Allies and Germany at the end of the First World War, on 28 June 1919. ]and reparations [Reparations: Monetary compensation from one country to another for having started a war. ].

In 1928, the Nazis had only 12 seats in the Reichstag; by July 1932 they had 230 seats and were the largest party.

The government was in chaos. President Hindenburg dismissed Brüning in 1932. His replacement - Papen - lasted six months, and the next chancellor - Schleicher - only lasted two months. Hindenburg had to use Article 48 to pass almost every law.

In January 1933, Hindenburg and Papen came up with a plan to get the Nazis on their side by offering to make Hitler vice chancellor. He refused and demanded to be made chancellor. They agreed, thinking they could control him.

In January 1933, Hitler became chancellor, and immediately set about making himselfabsolute ruler of Germany using Article 48.

Only fools compare America now to Nazi Germany.

I don't do this 'Nailed It' BS but I agree. Guesser, you have every right to be leary of Trump's ability to be our president but these comparisons are way off base. And I probably shouldn't say anything because every time I tell you you're wrong you double down on it. You are diminishing the horrors of the nazis. Disagree all you want with Trump. His hands may not be clean but the blood of millions are not now and will never be on them.

Could not disagree more. If one actually believes in NEVER AGAIN, then when they see someone like Drumpf using the playbook that got the original into power, using different groups, to sit silently or clap like a brainwashed seal is a tragedy. When they come for us again tommorrow, after his targeted groups of today, it'll be too late.
