PA is the QB state. Mostly W. PA, all white, mostly Catholic (I mentioned all white only because of the absurd post a few back). Texas stocks, Texas, TCU, A&M, Houston, Rice, SMU, Baylor, Texas Tech, North Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and a whole bunch of JC's....ScottyS

JJ,

How come you're not offering Rail $15,000 to join up with him like you're doing Reno at MW. I bet Rail is pissed off at you, big time.

We need some ground rules to further this debate. If all players play in their own state fine. If they had to follow rules some other schools/States follow the balance of power might change e.g. attend classes, pass (grades not footballs), no arrests while on scolarship come to mind'. Miami & Fla ST would be humbled a bit. I know, I know other schools use dumbells/criminals also but Florida is the example previously used here....ScottyS

Maybe you and Rail could form a syndicate and bet together. I'll arrange for you all to get credit and just take a little for the trouble.

jj, I doubt your post of 7:12. Where I CAME from (past tense) you can still get down on HS FB for 20$ with no problem. The odds are sharp and even posted in the paper. You would have no problem getting down on Alliquippa or Alabama....ScottyS

The Dunkel ratings were in the paper for a reason.

California last 5 years has had top 3 teams in the nation, MaterDei, Delasalle, and Lb Poly. All 3 teams are very well coached. Cal teams run sophisticted passing attacks, other states have coaches that scream at kids and run the ball 90% of the time.

Rail,

You still haven't gotten me that info on Dorsey's W/L % as a starter. Did he win many games for a QB that no one in CA wanted????? I mean, how many of those "wanted" QB's had a better record than he did? And when you get that info for me take the time to tell me how many of those "wanted" QB's won more national championships for the Pac 10 than Dorsey won for Miami. I mean, winning is the bottom line, isn't it?

Dorsey's winning pct isn't a true number. He didn't win those games alone. His supporting cast was far better than anyother team. Both years how many players got drafted? California is the best QB state without a question. Every year the top colleges go to Cali looking for their future QB.
