Compared to Toronto. Toronto has many more Spectacular women but in Vancouver the Average woman is much better looking than the average woman in Toronto. I think it has to do with everyone being so health conscious.
If you like Asian girls they are everywhere. Not sure what music or scene you are into but Granville street has most of the Bars and clubs in the city. Just walk down the street and you'll find something you like. Mostly 19-30 crowd. If you are into something more upscale check out Yaletown.

If you are coming in January I hope you are bringing Skis or a Snowboard. If you are staying in the city bring a Big Umbrella it rains almost everyday.
