I think you are wrong Stylez. Since the mods clearly saw the challenge (Old Man Ted even moved Rod's call out thread to the RUbber Room), I'm guessing the RX will pretty much make sure either Rod pays or he goes away.
Really no way to allow him to continue posting given the high visibility of his challenge if he doesn't pay.

Bruins: If you go thru the thread, you'll see that Rod issued the challenge, Harry's money was staked, and then Rod stopped responding to the thread. Silence doesnt mean "no bet". The challenge was issued and accepted. Since Rod never said "nevermind"; fair bet in my opinion. Harry should get paid.

Funny shit McCrazy. I guess you're right about the rubber room. I just hope the mods clearly judge this as a failure to pay if Rod doesnt step up and ban him from posting. You can't runa gambling website and allow people who dont pay their bets to be a part of it. Bad for reputation.

I seriously doubt that the mods will do anything about a bet made between 2 different posters. I've seen many threads where someone lays down a challenge to another and a mod makes it very clear that they are not responsible for settling gambling disputes between posters and that any agreement entered that involves money and payment is at the risk of the posters. The RX is not responsible at all, so repercussions against Rod for issuing a challenge and then never responding once Harrignton put up the money is extremely unlikely. Anyways, I'm not sure Harrigton wants a bunch of yellow, blue and orange bills.
Crazy, I agree with you 100% that the RX isnt responsible in any way. The challenge is on Rod to settle the cash and not the RX.
My point was, at the least, you dont let people who dont pay gambling losses post on your gambling site if you value your reputation. I trust that Wil and his guys will do what they feel is best, but I'd be stunned to see Rod still posting if he doesn't pay Harry. Stranger things have happened though.
