Beaner - you know good and well my opinion of this. If I thought you were wrong BEFORE I worked here why would it change now? This is why I think you are wrong in a nutshell...
- For starters you admitted twice now you took a shot. You live in Boston and was tuned into the game. As the early pace was very fast you saw they had left the game up so you went after the easy money. As what happens so many times when someone takes the "easy way" it blew up in your face. Had you won can you honestly say with a straight face you wouldn't accept the money? Give me a break Beaner...
- Even with you taking the shot I would still side with you if I believed Lenny would not have paid you. Even with all your lying about it and going back and forth on what happened had I really thought you wouldn't get paid I probably would have been sympathetic to you even though I don't like shot takers on either side of the counter. The fact is though Cascade has always honored their mistakes on things like this, ALWAYS. If I think with a reasonable degree of certainty you would have been paid than I have no choice but in siding with Lenny. With him we have a guy who is Spiro-like in respect around the off-shore business and I think he has earned it. I HONESTLY feel even by taking the shot you would have gotten paid had you won. If you didn't believe that why would you have bet in the first place???
In closing let me say I will do what I can to resolve things and when I deem necessary will go to great lengths to help a player who has been shafted. You Beaner are no victim in this. You tried to pull a fast one and got caught. You played a game already well started because you had an edge (or thought you did). Of course you bet it expecting to get paid but when the bet lost you screamed now that you shouldn't pay. You admitted you cheated and lied as well throughout this whole thing. LOL. Lenny has a track history of being honorable, you have a track history of sleeping with your hands under the covers.
In actuality I don't want to poke fun at this because it's not really funny when there are misunderstandings like this. I don't like when either book or player has a free roll on anything. Though Beaner claims Cascade did in this situation I think Beaner had what he perceived to be one. If he won he was going to get paid, if he lost..... well here we are now. Case closed Jim.
