I do not care how many castoffs, only one Nomar. But they tightened D, neglected starting pitching. If Cabrera can pick up his onbase % and figure out how to hit junk, he will be a good fit. Roberts does add depth, but Mientkiewicz may struggle, as he cannot cover better bats in front of him. Just seems like a damage control move to me.
