Only an ignorant white supremecist moose such as yourself would try to find something that doesn't exist. Obama has consistently campaigned on a 16 month withdrawal, and you cannot provide a single Obama quote that says otherwise. This thread is founded on the same fecal matter that dominates half of your brain.

No wonder you're such a David Duke wannabe. Whenever you try to be witty, you end up saying some corny line that was cool in 1972 like the above quote....or even better :

The latest and greatest has the troops coming home sometime in 2012. Your "boy" isn't bringing the "change" now is he. We can always "hope" he gets there.

Your "opinions" amount to "nothing" because you make "claims" with no "quotes" to "back them up".

Once again Obama has consistently campaigned on a 16 month troop withdrawal, and you fail to demonstrate otherwise with any link or Obama quote.

If you haven't gotten the idea, either you're going to give an Obama quote that backs up your claim (which won't happen, because your claim is based on a lie) or I'm simply going to keep repeating this ad nauseum until the fact that you came up with this thread based on deception and racially prejudice ranting is exposed.

There will still be tens of thousands of U.S. troops in Iraq when Obama leaves office..bet it in 2012 or 2016. Book it!

You are perfectly entitled to that opinion, but that has nothing to do with what Legend-I-Aint was saying. He's saying that Obama has promised 7 different withdrawal plans and he can't back it up with a quote because it's not true.

Then he tries to cover up his lies with neo nazi rants using terms like Obama is "nappy headed..." and a "boy".

The only people that share your energy ideas are a bunch of lying neocons. All others have better sense.

Ooops lying and neocons is redundant.

Why waste your time and energy Punt, you'll never get thru to them imperialista's.
------------------------------------------------------------

Guess you "drill baby drill" gurls haven't noticed the price of oil is now counter-conducive to local drilling-for-a-profit.

Market determines where their best profit comes from, and it's that cheaper chit from the ME, Mexico, and S America.

Clue No 1 just purchased for you. Consider that an early X-mas gift. If you yahoos had any senses and forsight, you'd see down the road in 10 years and conclude the next country we should invade is.........

Canada.

Here are some quotes from the BO campaign….

Withdraw U.S. combat troops from Iraq
"I will begin to remove our troops from Iraq immediately. I will remove one or two brigades a month and get all of our combat troops out of Iraq within 16 months. The only troops I will keep in Iraq will perform the limited missions of protecting our diplomats and carrying out targeted strikes on al-Qaida."—10/02/07, Chicago

And another one…..

Expand U.S. forces in Afghanistan
"As president, I would deploy at least two additional brigades to Afghanistan to reinforce our counterterrorism operations and support NATO's efforts against the Taliban."—8/1/07, Washington

So is he going to bring the troops home or just redeploy them? It appears to be a case of tell them what they want to hear or CYA if you will.

I appreciate Dave at least giving quotes, unlike Legend-I-Aint -- who can't produce quotes to back his claims because those quotes don't exist.

Now about those quotes.....

In the first quote, Obama says he's going to remove the troops out of Iraq over a 16 month period, thus ending the Iraq war. In the second quote he says he's going to increase the troop presence in Afghanistan.

There's no contradiction there. And for the record, I've never heard him claim that he's going to bring every soldier in Iraq back to the US. If he ends the Iraq war, quite naturally some troops will come home.

Typical Louisiana Tech grad thoughts. Now the left doesnt care or not if he follows through on his promises of "bringing our troops HOME"

Now it becomes a technicality...sorta the proverbial "She said, she said" argument.

Thats not exactly what he said is good enough now as an excuse for OBAMA LIE #1.

Legend please stop, your posts make no sense. If you are a Republican bitching about lies and failures about a guy that hasnt even taken office yet then thats just too funny. McCain would have all our troops home and all would be right in this world by now, lol! Fact is that all right-winged loosers that voted for Bush twice should STFU and give our country some time to get over his legacy. He was by far the worst president this country has ever seen. Too funny...

I have no point in particular except to post accurately what BO declared during his campaign. I called him among others things a snake oil salesman and I’ll stick by my assessment until he proves me wrong. As for him not being in office yet he is generating a lot of media attention thus he is fair game to question. He told you what you wanted to hear and you lapped it up. It remains to be seen if he will leave a bad taste in your mouth. :grandmais

I think the rat wangers on here have misjudged the expectations of the majority voters.

Whereas we thought the Iraq invasion was a criminal act by a out of control administration we do not expect our president to do stupid things.

The prudent course of action is to go forward from where we are now. To pull out immediately at this point would destabilize a very sensitive region, so we expect sane well thought out decisions. I know that is a foreign idea to you Bush backers but, hopefully, you will get used to it.

the rules should have changed when Iran took all of the US hostages for 444 days or..

when over 250 US Marines were blown up in Beruit or................

All of you assholes don't get it.

When the planes hit the Twin Towers we fought back and that fight will continue for as long as we all are all living and beyond that.

If we don't fight back, were fucked.

Put that in your liberal pipe and smoke it.:shoot3::blowup1::uzi:

Bush may have made some mistakes but when you fucking say you are going to do something and you don't it raises my eyebrows. No one held a gun to his nappy head and told him to say "I'm going to bring all the troops home." He just said it because it was popular. Yeah, hope and change, hope and change.

For the sake of consistency, I don't remember you starting a similar thread for the promises that dubya didn't fulfill, despite the fact that he had a congress who folded to his will like a cheap lawn chair for 6 years.

A sample of unfulfilled promises:
  • Rewrite and simplification of Tax Code
  • Creation of "Opportunity zones" to encourage companies to move into areas where companies closed
  • Allowing and encouraging small businesses to join together to negotiate for health care
  • Establishment of health centers in every poor or rural county in the country that does not have one
  • Promoting flexible schedules to make companies family friendly
  • More funding for local and community colleges
  • Creating personal social security account options to allow social security to be self managed for younger workers
  • A humble foreign policy with no nation building
  • Decreasing our dependance on foreign oil
