ok so what do you people think of this? I still have to bet $300. So I bet $150 one way and $150 the other and pay the juice. That makes the $300 I need to get my money. Thoughts?

at most shops this won't count, OR they might count it for Half

not 100% if ALL Books do, But there was a time that probably 95%+ of the Shops went with the Risk amount

lol that wouldnt make sense tho...say there's like a -600 favorite or something and you risk 1000 to win whatever measly amount, you pretty much almost have a lock to roll the rest of your money over.

this is standard procedure, is it not?

I can't think so. I remember getting sign up money back in the day that was a lot bigger than this. They made me bet 5 or 10 times the sign up money. Not including the amount I put in. There is no way that any other book gave me $17 dollars and said we are freezing your money until you bet $1000. Thats insane.

They could cap the money line. That I would understand.

would go the same way if you found a +3000 Tennis bet let's say... You bet $100 to win $3K
You think they are going to credit you $3K ? for a rollover ??

Remember, these Books are there to protect Themselves

I'm not totally in the loop with current stuff, I'm more Credit than Post up

I agree with the books protecting themselves. But I turned $200 into $600 through 10 or 12 money line bets. They can see by my record that I earned it (not trying to scam them).

But it looks like the betting gods were looking out for me. I asked them to move it to bitcoin yesterday morning when it hit 2700. Now its a 1900. I would have lost a fair amount of that money.

Heritage is no Greek......it's a bad time situation for offshore book clients. Man, I remember the days of collecting dimes thru western union. Those days are over.

Do it at Heritage and another book. Look for lines that you can arb (or close to).

Most books have a format that credit is given to the lower amount with regards to risk and payout.

As an example, you bet a 100 4 team parlay that pays 1000, you will get credit for risk amount of 100.

Also, if you bet a -1000 favorite for 100, you will get credit for the win amount of 100, not the 1000 lay amount.

This is general as books vary. Some only allow side and total (-110) bets, no money line, props etc. Obviously one should understand fully prior to engaging.

Which is how it should be.
