Hey lor how you doing? Started a new job in Northern California this week and just flew back to Socal this afternoon. Could not log in on the computer at work so I had to wait till I was home. I am bringing my laptop next week so I will be able to stay in touch. Lot of stuff going on with NOSOF/NOT this last week but, we are still hanging tough. I will be just hanging on to the 9,500 shares for the long haul. Hopefully we will all come out of this ok. This is a strong part of my retirement fund so I am watching this stock everyday. I do feel that we will someday be bought out between 30 to 70 dollars and I will be holding on till then. Good to hear from you and I will be staying in touch. Long on NOSOF/NOT.

This stock was halted by the TSX...so it could mean amultiple of things...Possibly that NOT bought another JR, which would Not be good for us longs in the short term IMO as it would eat up most of our cash on ahnd...So just sit tight..This halt MIGHT be good news, but it may also be Bad SHORT term news Either way LONG term it will be good, but you may see 5.00 a share before 7..BUT I am leaning towrads 7

This will be a bad day for metals/commodities...Gold is down $ 60.00...NO that's not a typo...I'm sure the Metals will follow....Again I see the PPT's "actions" all over this, desperately trying to hold US$ nad US Equities UP by driving Commodities DOWN...It won't last....maybe 2 or 3 days....
Although the assay results were superb, in reading the various news releases on this news, it is confirmed that this new discovery is in the FWR/MGR property optioned to NOT, and according to MGR/FWR , this "discovery" extends North East into FWR/MGR 100% owned claims....It appears clearer now that at some point in the not too distant future NOT will move to option the rest of the 184 FWR/MGR claims, whereiin this new discovery extends...
I still believe this will be a fantastic discovery and very likely a new rich Gold mine in the not too distant future, and will eventually be reflected in FWR,MGR, and NOSOF Stock Prices....
for GOLD is just a bit over 1 gm....really unbelievable how low the grade has sunk...and every 1 Gm is today worth 100 US$...World Miners have been left with no option but to mine the Low grade stuff, after they High Graded their mines during the 1990's and early 2000's...this is in part why it is so very expensive to mine Gold...there is very little new high or lower grade Gold being found...this JV discovery of high grade Gold is superb indeed....the problem with some here I believe, is they want instant gratification, and that's not how the mining business operates, never has never will...Those with patience and knowledge/understanding, will be highly rewarded in time...

I think everyone here agrees with DE2 having been hit, and the fact that anyone, anywhere in the ring of fire is hitting mineralization with every drill, There WILL be a MINE in McFauld's. Now once we all get that thru our heads the game is NOT the same. OUR DE1 with a value of 5.6B dollars according to Genuity gives us a market cap of 1.2B dollars by itself with a 20% buyout. It could be a 40% buyout but let's work with 20%. Add to that the 75 million dollars in the bank, you have 1.275B$. With our current SP, our market cap is only 640 million. That is a 50% discount to the book value of the company. This is like a house for sale at 600K and you know the exact same house next door sold for 1.2Million dollars. You say to yourself, something is wrong with this house. You hire a house evaluator, his assessment comes in at 1.2M. You recheck everything and cannot find any wrong. This such a great deal, how come no one else is jumping on it. Than you hear Toyota is opening a new manufacturing plant and house prices are set to double in the next few months...You keep saying to yourself, this is too good to be true, what am I missing. Well in NORONT'S case it is NOT what you are missing, it is what everyone else is missing. You are getting to buy a stock at 50% off it's book value with blue sky from here to Timbuktoo. My only question is: Why are you not ALL IN. This stock offers you shelter from a crashing market since you are buying below market value and it offers you a chance at a 10 bagger. How many stocks have that combination. Usually 10 baggers potential comes with very high risk. This one does not.
Think of why you got into this stock...The high grade nickel that Prof Naldrett (One of the most respected Geologist in the world) said could of only been formed from a system Kilometers in lenght are the conduits that the "Eagle 2 has landed" NR confirmed. The gold in Windfall gets no respect but mark my words, it will get a lot of respect in 2008. The 75 Million in the bank means our company is isolated from the credit crunch thanks to the forward thinking of our great management. There simply is no better place for my money right now than NORONT.

Hey lor, how is it going? Pretty crazy days for NOSOF. We have taken a very large hit this week and I think we kinda all knew it was coming. I am just hoping that we can rebound next week and at least stay above $6 for the next few months until all/more good news comes out. Anyhow, stay long and lets hope we see a quick rebound.
Hi Lovetowin, How's the new job going? Rough week for NOSOF and the market. Going into this stock I knew it wasn't for the weak of heart and set an 18/24 month target of owning this stock. There was not bad news out about NOSOF to push it down, just the over all market conditions. I asked about the tungsten property and he says that he is waiting for a report on the property. He said it was imminent and there will be an announcement soon. I asked if it was regarding the 43-101 and he said he wasn't sure but it's posible.
I asked about China project and he said that they have had the new licences renewed, they also got the additional land they were trying to get. He is waiting for the President of Newport to get back from vacation to get full update and then a report will be issued. As you all know this is a gold project that looks very promising. Newport will spend all the money and we get 50%.
I asked about Mexico and he said they are not doing anything there right now.
I asked about the labs and he said they are using one lab right now and he is waiting for reports to come back but doesn't know when. I said its been over a month and he agreed and said we have to be patient.
I asked about the drills and said currently there are 2 drilling and will be 3 drills next week and he is getting a 4th drill to come as well but didn't give me a time frame.
I asked abou the JV's and if anyone was drilling yet. He said first they all have to do the ground work and geophysics before they start to drill. He mentioned Hawk has people up there doing line cutting and the geophysics.
I commented on the good news from Windfall and the fact that the price dropped. Richard said that the overall market is bad. I asked if he thought we had a mine and he said that's why we're going underground to find this out. Then he said there's gold all over the place up there
Then I asked if we are drilling different annomalies in the DE area and he said yes. I asked if we had a DE3 yet and he said he didn't know and could not comment. Obviously I didn't expect him to.
My last question was " So Richard there is no bad news is there and he said No it's all good."
I wished him a Happy Easter and he did the same.
So here you have it folks! Everything looks good and all we need is patience. I hope a lot of the newbies on this site are able to hang on over these rough markets. I know it's easier said than done but with all the projects our company has here I know our stock has to go higher.
