Ted Cruz, R-Texas, than the growing legal problems faced by Democrat New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
With Texans still struggling following deadly winter storms that have devastated the state's power grid, Cruz landed in hot water late Wednesday after pictures emerged on social media showing him and his family flying to Mexico for vacation. Cruz flew back to Houston the next day amid the backlash.
Meanwhile, Cuomo's administration is reportedly under investigation by the FBI and the U.S. Attorney's Office in Brooklyn after critics accused officials of covering up the true number of COVID nursing home deaths in the state. Early in the pandemic, the governor ordered assisted living facilities to accept COVID-positive patients in order to keep hospital beds free.

Judging by Thursday's broadcast, it appears ABC News believes Cruz's vacation episode is far more important and consequential than Cuomo's nursing home scandal.

I'm going to somewhat disagree here. It wasn't until recently that the MSM picked up on the Cuomo stuff. Conservative media has been calling it out since last spring. Liberals called BS on the claims and accused the Right of political smearing. Now that he's actually being investigated, the MSM is forced to cover it. Of course he's being investigated now AFTER the election. Go figure..
I don't watch a whole lot of national news. But I do occasionally watch both MSM like ABC/CBS etc, and I watch Tucker Carlson sometimes. So I get a good mix of both. I personally have seen Tucker call out Trump many times. Tucker is relentless on Democrats no doubt. But he also called out Trump when he felt it was warranted.

Ron Kim, a New York State assemblymember who said Gov. Andrew Cuomo covered up information about Covid-19 deaths in nursing homes, said Cuomo called him multiple times asking him to lie and saying his career would be destroyed for speaking out.
Kim, a fellow Democrat, said Cuomo called him four times and Cuomo’s staff called about five times after that, saying Kim needed to immediately release a statement contradicting earlier statements about Cuomo’s alleged cover-
“Gov. Cuomo called me the next day at 8 p.m., while I was about to bathe my kids — I was with my wife,” Kim said in an interview on MSNBC Thursday morning. “And for 10 minutes he berated me, he yelled at me, he told me that my career would be over, he’s been biting his tongue for months against me, and I had tonight — not tomorrow — tonight to issue a new statement, essentially asking me to lie.”
