Cubs suck......Santana over Zambrano anyday of the week.

And i would take Ollie Perez over Harden....That`s 2 wins

Mets would bounce that garbage Cub team in the 1st round....guaranteed

I can`t wait :aktion033....Mets just might sweep the Cubs if they play :missingte

So are you hoping for the wild card to face the Cubs instead of the Dodgers?

<!-- T10987631 for MLB_20080920_PHI@FLA --><!--APNewsNow. Phillies 3, Marlins 2.-->MIAMI (AP) -The game was as tight as the NL East standings, and at the end of the night, the Philadelphia Phillies led both.
Philadelphia went ahead, fell behind, rallied and held on Saturday, escaping threats in the final three innings to beat the Florida Marlins 3-2 and reclaim first place from the New York Mets.

The Phillies' eighth win in the past nine games left them with a half-game lead over the Mets, who lost to Atlanta 4-2. Philadelphia ended the Marlins' nine-game winning streak and dealt a blow to their faint playoff hopes.

I'm like you Greenbacks, just hope the Phils make it....but the fact is that the Mets blew a 5 game lead in mid-september this year...hope Phils finish ahead of Mets for home field if by chance they meet in October...

That was a 3.5 game lead not 5.......Seriously VD,as a huge Mets fan i really don`t care how they get to the playoffs just get there. After a long grueling 162 game season its just nice to be playing in October. And once your there anything can happen.Phils and Mets should both be there.Maybe they meet in the championship round.

Good luck with the pigskin on Sunday :toast:

Mets having a tougher time tonight playing against real major leaguers again. Good thing they got Chicago after the Cubs clinched because it would have been embarrassing for the Mets to lose 6+ straight to end the season.

Tomorrow doesn't look too good for the Mets with CC pitching for Brew Crew and Perez flinging for the Mets. At least the Mets are still alive going into the last day of the regular season.
