The NFL has a hotline for a ride if you have too much to drink

You're in Vegas. No cabs, uber, or lyft available?

But since its the raiders, lets talk about Gruden's emails

Just brutal. He is going to spend several years in prison. Nevada doesn't treat felony DUI's lightly. An NFL player who did walk was Donte Stallworth. In his case the person he killed walked into traffic on a busy causeway. He even was reinstated in the league. He did settle with the family but I don't know how he beat the case as he was over the legal limit at 0.12 vs 0.8.

Leonard Little walked too, but that was a different era. Back in the 90s there was a new athlete arrested like every week so kinda just slipped by a little more

More information Ruggs rear ended a Toyota Rav4 with his Corvette. The driver of the Rav4 was a 23 year old woman. Her vehicle caught fire and she died inside. Ruggs is being held without bail.

What a horrible way to die, slammed from behind, car burst in to flames, you burn to death with your dog by your side. He's going to do some serious jail time.

Not so fast on thinking LV is a sure bet for giving prison time. Josh Jacobs got arrested for DUI last time and the charges were dropped. A couple other cases are noted above. The casinos own law enforcement and rich people tell the prosecutors what to do.
Zaon Collins, a UNLV basketball recruit, killed someone with a DUI while still in high school...they are just waiting long enough to drop those charges.

So you can drive at a high rate of speed, slam into them while under the influence, take their life and walk. I want Ruggs lawyer if I ever get into trouble if he can make that happen.

The Raiders released him. They didn't even bother to wait to see if he was actually impaired when the accident took place.

I doubt that. Sure Raiders got tons of contacts with LVPD that laid out what happened and what would happen going forward before they cut a 1st rd pick and emerging player.

It was likely spelled out for them rather conclusively.

Look up the Zaon Collins case in LV. He killed a 51 year old father/veteran when he rammed his car driving 90 in a 35mph zone while under the influence. Star HS basketball player who had committed to UNLV. AND...get this...I just read that Ruggs has hired the same legal team.

Wonder if Ruggs had time to save the young woman from burning?

Did he try? Did he run? Some details would be nice. Either way he going to jail for long time.

I'd like to know this as well. Did she go unconscious or something too? Figured she could escape if not...
