The singer appeared after a minute's silence for 9/11 at the US Open women's semi-finals on Saturday night to sing the anthem before the women’s semi-final match between Serena Williams and Caroline Wozniacki.

Unfortunately, Lauper messed up the same line in The Star-Spangled Banner that Christina Aguilera in did her now-infamous Super Bowl appearance in February.

The 58-year-old wore a pair of over-the-knee black boots and leather jacket with a dress emblazoned with the Statue of Liberty for the live-televised occasion.
