Of course the costs are reasonable, if you don't get cured 100% in the US people just find an attorney and sue. That is the joke of the US healthcare system, we are paying malpractice lawyers and victims an inordinate share of the cost of healthcare. Not that I am a big fan of public hospitals, but if it just were for the chance to tell people you can't sue for millions because the doctor didn't cure you or made a mistake, the general public would all be far better off. I think a lot of the less developed world has the same situation as in Costa Rica, where you have the government funded hospitals that suck but guarantee you get some treatment and the private ones for those with the money where the treatment is as good as anywhere in the world. Someday it probably will be like that in the US.

judge, you'd still be waiting in line if it was a public hospital, here they put you on a waiting list that could take up to a year for any kind of surgery

O,starting to realize that there is not exactly equity in health care here.Makes me feel uncormfortable that quality health care is only availible for those who can afford it.Kind of like the US I guess.

Gentlemen..

Recently I also had a health incident and was treated in CIMA..The hospital is some way affiliated with Baylor medical in Texas..

The entire experience was professional and my diagnosis and treatment thankfully were correct..The Doctors were all english speaking, the environment was spotless..

It was quite affordable, compared to the states..

I had my appendix out at Cima 3 years ago. Wasn't cheap but the company I worked for at the time had insurance. They did a good job and the scare is almost gone. I had to spend two nights there. The girl friend at the time stayed with me the whole time. And yes the pain killers are kick ass!
