They are doing this drawing with no hold because of the guaranteed action. $250 isnt that much of an entry fee really, but not everyone would partake in such an event. But serious gamblers might do it. Therefore, each of those 200 invitees will probably give on average around $2000-3000 in action over a 10 hour period. Sure some will win, but the house will have paid for the party quite easily.

The casino just 2 hours away from my house gives away $30,000 every Monday night to someone who is present. They have 10 drawings over a 4 hour period and each person must be present or they draw again.

Adding to my misery of losing 1100 yesterday was the fact that I hit QUADS about 20 minutes after the first 25 on the day had also, thus not allowing me the free entry into this mornings tourney.

I was at a private game(wasn't playing) a few months ago,(Omaha high) where I saw a royal flush, over quads, over a nut full house. You should have seen the look on the two losers(huge pot). That's why I only play Omaha in selected tournaments.

HOLY shit you that sucks man how much profit does that 1000$ loss do to your bankroll fish??? you did the right thing you had to have thought you were golden in that hand im going to play some NL tonight not for that high a stake though wish me luck
