There comes a point in any mans life when he comes to realize that,...the bad days are now going to outnumber the good, time is limited,...all the things you wished and hoped for in your 20's aren't going to happen,....everyone and everything in your life is going to get old and sick....

And the one day something happens that puts your life in jeopardy, it is then that you realize how great life is and how much youd rather wake up on this side of the earth.

If you feel that way ever, figure out what changes you can make. it shouldn't be like that.

get rid of shit you don't need. You might be surprised at how much YOU WON't miss them. Grab and backpack, your passport, smart phone, your bank card and travel the world. Start in Asia. You can do it cheap. I did it last year for 3 months. You will have memories forever. I can't wait to do it again. Maybe for a year this time.

Get busy living or get busy dying......(shawshank)

I'm on Zit and Wapner's side.....
Viejo's a great guy, and I have enjoyed every minute of the time I've spent with him at bashes. But to the OP, the problem with statements like these is that they make the person suffering feel like they are alone, and that everyone is out having a great time everyday, and that they need to get with the program and stop being a pussy. The cute line that everyone uses is that they "live life to the fullest." I don't have the slightest idea what that means. Does it mean you go on more vacations than everyone else? That you make more money? That you get excited to wake up everyday and take care of the all the trivial responsibilities you have?

OP- You need to find people that will support and encourage you. People that have been where you are. I'm fortunate to have some of the best friends in the world, people that really care and are there for me. Likewise, I'm there for them. Many people do not have that support system. Look at Tiger Woods, you think he was happy with all that money and fame? People have issues. Trust me, I know this because I know people better than most. I've never been to an AA meeting, but I have a good friend that goes regularly to AA meetings. He's met some great people that are not too proud to let their guard down and be real. You might want to attend an AA meeting and just observe regular fucked people caring about each other.
