Comming from my friend at ICE. Mexico is a great place until dark then get the Fock out. Now this is along the Texas border. Very bad drug war going on right now. All federal cops no local police at this time due to they have been fired becuase they were all on the take. Kidnaping is a big thing and gun fight in the street are very common not common very common. Iwas going to go spring break weekend this as I was in South Padre call him for some tips decided to stay on this side and I have been around the border many times. Just a little FYI also I know once you get past the border it is not so bad it is just getting past the border part. Also as mention above Mexico City is a shit hole it will take a month to get all the crap out of your lungs plus nothing great to see. What ever you do don't try to buy drugs down there. Not a joke you will get rob or arrested. Mexican insurance is a must and if you like your car rent on there becuase they may like it better than you do.
