Buncha times here...1 time someone stole some shit out the back of my van...Witness comes by a few days later and describes my roommate at the time as the guy he saw taking it......
Next time i had a helper working for me, saw me stick some cash in my van. Came back that night and took $400 but nothing else....
Last time was at my crack house in broad daylight. I was in the front yard with a chainsaw, my van parked on the side of the house. They broke in thru the passenger side and had my radio almost out the dash when they found an OZ and took it and hauled ass.... Had about 2000 cash , credit cards and my 9mm all within their reach had the had brains enough to look around but being the idiots they were they took the least valuble thing in the truck and left....I knew it was the thugs across the street so i wasnt sad at all when their house burned to the ground 2 days later......seems they developed a small gas leak

What a bizarre post. They don't have snow in Florida, I am aware of that.

heh...

You've mentioned a few times in past that Clearwater area is haunted with regard to wierd things happening to you down here

Just wanted to add to the Good Side so you can have lessened phobia about relocating down here when the time is right

had my speakers and amp and cassettes(yes, i typed cassettes) stolen once, but they left the Pioneer tape deck.

worked with a dude who had his Monte Carlo stolen from his driveway, went home late , woke up early and it was gone, called and made a police report that morning, got to work around 9 am, police called at 10 am, found it across town in an alley running with no doors, trunk, doghouse, seats, glass, basically a frame and engine running.

Worst thief ever got me.

He was too dumb to steal my cd player but managed to break the faceplate. At least he was nice enough to put the broken part in my glove box.

He then stole my emission test results, broken cell phone (the thing was a piece of crap and had a broken screen and wouldn't work), and all my change.

Left over was a $200+ tennis racket and a laptop in my trunk.

What a ratard.

Had an unserviceable 1997 carphone ripped off about seven years ago (along with a brand new free T-shirt from the liquor store the registration was found crumpled up in the neighbors driveway). Thing was probably eight times the size of my current phone. Sometimes I think I would like to still own it so I can carry it around and see how people react when I tell them it is my cell phone

Always locked my doors since then

got new car on monday and was going to put office an apartment in dallas so had car loaded down where on place open was where I sat to drive. drove 10 hours to dallas and was eating supper when saw my car drive out of parking lot. took cops 1 hour to get there and said they work on it.

got call 3 weeks later from corpus cristi and police said they had my car, as caught someone who drove off from quik stop and did not pay for gas.
guy said he drove around dallas for over 2 weeks in car with no trouble; did not even take mississippi plates off. glad to get car back but lost about 5,000 in possessions.

Had my SUV stolen and thought nothing of it at the time. Thought i would just inform cops and Onstar and I would have it back no problem. Was I ever wrong!!! Got it back the next morning and it was completly fucked up. Initial estimate came in at 8k, so it was not totaled. Had a supplemental claim for 35k and a personal property claim for 13k. Took 4 months to get it back and had racked up 6k in rental fees in excess of what insurance would cover. A total disaster when all was said and done. Found out after the fact who stole and wanted to kill him. Nothing ever came of it except the fact that I got about 2k from the guy who stole it origanally for my trouble.
