How about Shane? When Alan Ladd is riding off and the kid is calling after him and we know Shane has to go because he took a bullet in a vital organ and he doesn't want the kid to see him die? Choke..

I cried in Boogie Nights when Dirk Diggler blows his career through a series of drugs, ego and stupid decisions. Guy had it all, man. Guy had it all.

Jerry Macguire, when Cuba finally had that breakout game against Dallas. After he came out of the locker room and with all the news reporters swarming around him, Macguire and him shared an emotional hug. That got me everytime.

Shane definitely would have choked me up if I hadn't known it was coming.

Brian's Song is a nobrainer as well.

Pride of the Yankees with the speech is very emotional.

I cried many times when Selena died in that movie as well.

I remember watching where the red fern grows when I was a kid and I think I cried for two days. That was some serious bullshit.

My favorite book of all time. I shed tears every time I read that shit.

I've never seen the movie, and I never will. Don't want to do anything to ruin that book for me.

As for movies, there are a ton that I've shed tears while watching...can't think of any off the top of my head, but yeah.

Oh well.

That kind of perseverance to finish the task when death is imminent gets to me every time!
