It is real but the big lie is the economic development/opportunity associated with reducing emissions.

It would take legitimate sacrifice in regard to standard of living that 1st world countries aren't willing to make. Especially in the short-term.

You can't just change your energy supply on the fly and have no disruption.

And while the USA has reduced emissions, the rest of the developing world as increased theirs'

99.9% of scientist and facts are climate change is real lol. how can you say its not real?

The climate has been changing from the beginning of time. How long has the world keep stats on everything? This bs regarding climate change is strictly about money, nothing more.

Ice age in the 70's, gonna die. Acid rain after that, gonna die. Planet heating up, gonna die. Flooding will happen, gonna die.

Money, nothing more.

Most of the warming occurred in the past 35 years, with the five warmest years on record taking place since 2010. Not only was 2016 the warmest year on record, but eight of the 12 months that make up the year — from January through September, with the exception of June — were the warmest on record for those respective months.

It's not a natural earth cycle. its a change caused by humans.

Bullshit, you've bought into the hype. Congrats.

It's amazing to me that anybody is dumb enough to think that climate change isn't happening. It reminds me of 30 years ago when 90% of the experts said cigarettes were bad for you, but there were still 10% of the experts who claimed they weren't. Anyone who was dumb enough to believe cigarettes weren't harmful held their hat to those statements made by the minority of "experts" claiming they were just fine. Then 20 years later documents coming out showing the only "experts" who didn't say they were harmful were all in the pockets of big tabacco and were being dishonest.

It's true climate takes place naturally, but the ever growing population of humans and industry is making it happen much much faster then natural. It's right there in the numbers. I think 100% of scientists would agree with what the numbers are showing. I don't think anyone knows for sure the exact effects it will have, thats where the 10% of those who aren't worried about it come from. They just don't think it will have a terrible effect and that everything will be fine.

woah I need read the room haha. yes, these kids shouldn't be delaying a football game, ridiculous. saying climate change isn't real and stating political talking pts. is equally as ridiculous. its not a political issue.

Spend a few minutes surfing this site: https://climate.nasa.gov/

I don't think NASA lies about climate change to get grants and funding. lol
You aren't alone here. Climate change is very real, and man is a major contributor. The sad part is that it's been politicized, which has led to ignorance from both the left and the right.

Tell those kids that are protesting to give up their way of life. Stop using any form of transportation that uses fossil fuels in some way shape or form. Don't live in climate controlled homes. Reject both air conditioning and heat. Give up their cell phones, large screen TVs, video games and computers. They won't have to worry about their degrees, they'll be no jobs after the worldwide economic collapse. There will be famine and disease. You know those apocalyptic movies they make always blaming mankind's demise on war, well that becomes reality following our economic collapse.

The infamous climate deal Obama signed and Trump rejected, that reduced the Earth's temperature by 1 degree over 100 hundred years. Stated differently, it was pure poppycock

What am l saying here? Assuming the manmade climate change crowd is 100% correct, none of these protestors are willing to give away their standard of living. Thus their actions are superficial bullshit. It's pretentious

Remember, I'm one that thinks climate change is real, and is a threat to life as we know it, but it's been happening for 2 billion years and it's not manmade

I'll add this to Willie's last sentence.

And man will never be able to stop natural climate change.

If it was "Man Made" and all of the oceans are rising like Obama said... Why would he spend millions to buy a beachfront property?

Seems the smart move if you believed it, would to buy property in the middle of the US

What are you doing to prevent this?

The kids might as well scream at the sky, probably leave a smaller imprint than using transportation to attend the game. And just as effective

And if the ocean's are rising, why do banks give out loans for oceanfront property?
