- Acid rain is real and still happens to this day
- Ice ages are cyclical and go in like 100,000 year cycles, so 10,000 years hear or there make up a very small time period for earth but encompass most of recorded human history.
- While Im sure 12 years is an exaggeration, the temp of the planet is rising. But lets ignore that for a second, the US went through our industrial revolution and learned from it. The rest of the worlds big boys (China, India, etc) are going through it now. The air quality in these countries is getting to the point of being unlivable. PPM pollutants, asthma cases rising, lung cancer rates rising, rise in poor water quality are all real and measurable effects.
Instead of these turds delaying a football game they should be doing real good like reaching out to political members and CEOs that can make a difference. Researching and developing alternate methods of what we are doing that is causing all these issues. Going out and picking up trash. Real shit not just look at me shit.

It's real, the earth's climate has been changing for 2 billion years and it's going to continue to change. Hundreds if not thousands of those changes have been cataclysmic, and there's no reason to believe that's going to suddenly stop either. So man should try our best to prepare ourselves for climate change to continue, and how the best survive it.

Not only was 2016 the warmest year on record, but eight of the 12 months that make up the year — from January through September, with the exception of June — were the warmest on record for those respective months.
It's not a natural earth cycle. its a change caused by humans.

This is exactly how the Federal Government works Mr. Bojangles. Not the grants part but funding...yes.
Each year, Federal agencies must submit their budget proposal for the next fiscal year. These agencies must show they can reasonably argue to keep or increase their budgets or they risk losing money which is then allocated to other federal agencies.
I'm not saying NASA is making anything up and don't know anything about their budget but have I seen Federal Agencies embellish their spending in order to keep their budget or to get more money? I sure have. It's a pretty common practice actually.
The planet has undergone thousands of global warming cycles. 20,000 years of global warming followed by 70,000 of ice age. These cycles go back as far as scientists can tell.
The cataclysmic change we're all most familiar with was when dinosaurs became fossilized, that was 66 million years ago. Since then, there would be like 733 cycles or warming followed by cooling
The earth's climate is changing, it's not fossil fuels at fault. Mankind's population growth alone is a significant factor, and includes everything we do to sustain that growth.
The solution is NOT to simply stop using fossil fuels, and there will continue to be cataclysmic changes no matter what we do. Mankind is best served by preparing for those changes we have no control over.
