I agree that it more a money grab than an enforceable offense. Had to convince the operators of their lisc. river boats that the state would do what it could to promote their business.
One the other hand. It is good to see that there are states that are willing to define the bounderies of internet gaming and promotion. The more the battle field is defined the better the chance for victory. I would rather know what I have to do to have fredom to wager online or who I have to lobby against to change a "law" rather than have to nothing but beurocrats say what if's when it comes to deciding "if" you are breaking the law.
Don't get me wrong, I am pro freedom of use of the internet. I also believe that the more they pass laws the more one can work to define their freedom.
Not to mention, how many posters and visitors have send an email or a snail mail to anyone in gov't asking for the freedom to wager on the internet or to inform them of any legislation that may affect that , HUH????
