Why is that important?
Well if he actually did have a 1000 star play before the Bowl Season began, why would he be saying "it probably goes later today." That is wishy washy bullshit-either there is a 1000 star play or there isn't at the BEGINNNING of the day.
Perhaps and more likely, it is because he has been doing crappy doing the bowl season and wants to give out the 1000 play after/if he goes on a winning streak;if this is the case(which I believe it to be), that indicates that the entire 1000 star thing was made up and a marketing ploy only, and that the 1000 star will be chosen at a time which meets his needs;in short there was never any real 1000 star to begin with.

Probably the reason he lost was because of all of those (made up) "syndicates" stationed all all around the world were too busy partying, getting drunk and trying to get laid rather than worrying about who to pick today. @)
What would the point of making up his crews be?? People are so concerned about him having fake crews, but what does it matter? All the plays come from Budin, and they all count for/against his own record, regardless of what crew. What would the point of making up crews be? Marketing "ploy"? What would that be? Most people follow all of Budin's plays, regardless of what crew they come from. There's probably very few people who only play certain crews. So why would he bother with crews?
He bothers with fake crews because it makes it sound like he has very special and privileged information not known to many, the intent being that many will believe it and thus be more likely to buy his picks. Does that make sense?
It is the same as a service saying they have paid scouts at every college and NFL site- in other words pure bullshit to get you to buy.
Savage's analysis of the Seabass 1000 play is likely spot on, imo. I and others certainly believed the 1000 play would go today.

That is pretty funny the adds on the sides of the facebook page. I feel bad for that guy with the comments. He shouldnt be gambling its really sad. Budin has been atrocious this past year no doubt but at the end of the day he has won the previous 3-4 years I have been watching. At 33 total plays you can tell the guy is not chasing. Guys release that in a single week sometimes. Look at the other guys on Langs site. Chris Jordan has stunk up the joint for over two months. He went outside of his bankroll plays today and released a 3,000* play which is 3 times his max play. Great, he won the game but he had Penn state. Extremely lucky and in those conditions how could that ever be the biggest play of the year? It looks like they played it in a hog pit. Total chase job. We all need to manage our own money these guys clearly do not. That is the lesson that must be learned and it seems like a lot can not learn that like the guy cursing up a storm.
At the end of the day this is gambling, nobody gives money away for free. Nobody should be gambling with money they dont have to be gambling with. This is just sports guys, it is not LIFE. I hope a lot of you can take away more than a few laughs from the guy posting on his facebook page and realize that. People who are that outraged by games need some serious help in life. Not supporting budin by any means but there is more to life guys. For me and 90% of the people on here this is just a hobby and not a way for means of life. Lets have fun with it despite the bad loses. This is a far better hobby than collecting coins, or gardening with the wife lol.
