things are being made really bad. I use to love raypak heaters got some that are 20+ years still going however since bought out by Rheem there Reps don’t have the same freedom to pass out parts and help out there buyers. What kind of pump went bad ? I do like the Pentair SVRS pumps. They use to have some issues with their drives and depending on your setup if you have automation or running on a time clock or if your programming through pump. If you have 1.5” plumbing your more limited to what you can install because of the hydraulics and you don’t want to exceed 1.5hp or your pump will quit faster because you can only move so much water through it so higher hp and smaller pipe = shit. If you have 2” plumbing more flexibility and choice. Don’t fall for the energy efficient bs on saving electric by running on lower rpm’s. What they’re not telling you if you have a gas heater that heater needs around 47 gallons a minute to run properly or that exchanger in heater is cooking.

What sucks about my heater (we dont use it from April through Sep) is that we have to turn it on the day before we plan on going in the pool. I wish it got hot right away. Nothing like coming home from a kids' game in 85 degree weather and jumping into a freezing pool.

Summer months are awesome though as pool is always warm. Probably be in it tonite to watch fireworks (just need to spend a good 10 minutes cleaning out all the dang bugs in the pool)

Water temp right Now in most pools 75-80 I agree if it’s not refreshing not worth going in during the summer . Some of these clowns set their heat for 90-95. Totally gross and these are the clowns driving teslas. Bunch of nimbys who pretend . The irony here is when the republicans had the wealth and were scrutinized for capitilizing on illegal hire . Oh how the roles have reversed . Reality both parties are the worst

I always wondered what pool temps get to in Florida during the summer? What’s your water temp in July august - the heater . You could always get a heat pump that cools the water . I always wondered if this was common practice in a Florida summer climate

I want to say it gets to 85-90 during these months. Biggest problem is i'm not home much during the daytime and when i am, its a 50/50 shot that its raining outside.

I actually LOVE it when it gets warm as its pretty relaxing. I have a jacuzzi as well but never turn the heat on as it feels good. I'll sit in there like i'm in the bathtub listening to music or watching a game with a drink in hand

That sounds like a good way to enjoy a Sunday or Monday night football game or any night for the matter.

Super hot outside high humidity I like to hit that water and feel a chill . Pushing high 80s you lose that chill at least for my liking . I do work outside so guess I got to take that into consideration.
Yep. Got to have that nice chill
