Like i said before, i agree to an extent. I think they should be more clear in their rules, but, BHB did explain their policy to you BEFORE you sent in funds.
I could see the problem if you had sent the money, then heard this, but, that is not the case. You called before hand, they explained the ppolicy. Why not just deposit elsewhere if you are justy looking for a bonus on $300?

That is my point.
