I just dont get how you can critize sf manager when every manager would do the same with a young stud

honestly what happened tonight is not out of the ordinary. the sf manager did what any of the other 15 managers in the NL would have done.

you lost and it sucks but it isnt like this move couldnt have been foreseen when the 7th inning came about. lincecum is in his second year, the giants arent gonna contend for shit so they arent gonna push him towards 125 pitches in a tie game that he isnt even guaranteed to win ! up 5 - 1 MAYBE. but i doubt it still

just doing some editing Pinella? right Artie.
Baseball has it's good days and bad days some bettors do better on everyone's bad days. Other's do better om everyone' good days. People tend to over react to each day regardless of winning or losing. I think that has more to do with poor money management than ability to handicap. Pretty good capper yourself Artie and alot of good one's on this forum. Just a 2 week run or so away from turning the season around which is more than you could say a month ago.

Ooops, yes Lou Piniella. Sorry there folks. Dusty is in the ESPN studio. Guess I had him on the mind b/c he managed both SF and the Cubs. Thanks for the edit ELMO!

Thanks for the kind words as well. Let's get the man tomorrow.:103631605

3-2 isnt a tie game. They had the lead. And above all, he brings in Walker with an ERA of 5 before he gave up 3 runs. Haha. It was a joke all around by a dumb f'ing manager.

oh sorry, i thought it was 2 - 2. either way they arent gonna burn him out man. when betting on shitty teams you have to consider that starters arent 9 inning pitchers these days. 6 - 7 usually and bullpens account for almost 20% of the pitches thrown in a game.

tough loss but it isnt SF coaches fault they had to put somebody out there even if his era is 5. not all teams have middle relief and lock down closers, especially ones in last place
