They keep forgetting who they are inside the Argo 30... Another dropped deep ball for the Alouettes... This team is in some legit danger of making the East completely wide open...

Still not giving up hope on the over in this one in the 2nd half... 3 TDs isn't impossible in the 4th quarter, but it's gonna take the Alouettes figuring this out offensively... Argonauts offense not helping inside the 30 either with the loan FG in the half.

Als finally get in the end zone... 22-15 Argos, Montreal just gave back some momentum with a 2 and out. I'd love OT in this one, but it looks like the Argos are gonna put some points on the board, perhaps making this much more difficult...

29-15 now... Looks very grim for the Alouettes at this point. I'll be happy with one more TD and walk away with some dignity... couple scores would make this night not as horrific.

In some fairness to the Alouette defense... it sounds like everyone's playing out of position due to injury. I'm not sure that makes such a lousy effort in stopping John Avery tonight, and it seems as though this one's over unless Calvillo catches some fire... he's played pretty well tonight against a very good Toronto defense, but he's not getting much help in this one, and once the Alouettes reach the Argo 30, they croak.

Lucked out on 3rd down to keep everything alive... over in the 2nd half is a winner. Only another Montreal TD would suffice for the team over for the game... 29-24 Argos with about 1:20 left.

Calvillo throws a pick to finally and mercifully end this game for the Alouettes, who never got it going tonight...

Alouettes over 28.5 L (-1.5 units)

Alouettes over 14.5 1st half L (-1 unit)

Alouettes (-5) vs. Argos L (-3.21 units)

Montreal vs. Toronto over 27 2nd half W (+3.5 units)

So not a horrific night, though this is one of those games I feel like I made a completely horrible call on. 2nd half over seemed quite easy to me, and though truthfully I had it with plenty to spare thanks to a bullcrap Argo TD, it wasn't a pick that was necessarily very strong, let alone worth my biggest 2nd half play of the year.

But for those keeping score, that's 0-4-1 ATS for the Alouettes... and worse for them, only 2-3 outright... Toronto will be a definite under game against the Bombers in 3 days' time IMO.

Meanwhile for the Alouettes, the only real positive mark on their schedule thus far has been the come from behind victory against Edmonton... but even then, this team looked horrible for about 2/3 of that game. Heads are sure to roll in the Alouette locker room, and I've already tabbed the game two weeks from now between these same teams in Toronto as a big spot for an Alouette domination... but they've gotta show me something against the Rough Riders next week first. Calvillo has thrown 7 picks this year, tops in the league... so in this year of breaking records for Calvillo, being on pace for about 30 picks isn't something to be proud of. Again, it didn't seem like he played poorly tonight, rather getting no help around him. Next week's match with Saskatchewan should be a bit of a shoot out if the Riders are fully healthy, as the Alouette defense is simply brutal right now.

Adding to tomorrow...

Calgary/BC over 26 1st half (2 units -110)

Will be playing over both teams' totals as well tomorrow when 5Dimes opens lines.

Once again, a ballsy play tonight with a lot of units floating around, but I like the fact that I'm spread around in this one... here's what I've got for tonight thus far... going to mull over this Saskatchewan game a bit more before pulling the trigger tonight.

BC/Calgary over 53 (2.5 units -110)
BC/Calgary over 26 1st half (2 units -110)
Calgary over 21.5 (1 unit -110)
BC over 31 (1 unit -110)
Calgary over 10.5 1st half (1 unit -110)
BC over 16 1st half (1 unit +105)

Basically risking about 9 units to win 8.5 tonight... Hope things work out the best for us all. Decided not to take Calgary and the points, though as we roll closer to game time, perhaps just a tad more on Calgary over the 10.5 in the 1st half and 21.5 for the game.

Yeah, you're a lucky one... Bastard Alouettes...

Anyway, I said this was gonna be the big play this week, and I'm sticking with it... BC/Calgary over the world...

Still really don't fully trust this Rider team... Though 5.5 would have been real nice, 7.5 is steep and I might just lay off the game all together.

Alright, I've been talked into it... I think that Saskatchewan is gonna whoop up on the Renegades tonight... I still think this Ottawa team is gonna one of the worst two teams in the CFL... and though I think Saskatchewan is vastly overrated at this junction of the season, I can certainly buy into the Riders defense coming up better than they did against Calgary last week...

Ottawa under 24 (2 units -110)

Not going to wait on this one this week...

Winnepeg @ Toronto under 51.5 (1.5 units -110)

Watch the line close at like 57... That'd be the end all.

Toronto's offense had a very impressive game against the Alouettes a few nights ago, but they are going to be just dead tired. I know that this typically means a higher scoring game, but I look for Toronto to try to make this game as short as possible. 8 points is too many to lay on a team on 3 days' rest, but I believe that the Argos will try melting this clock with their newly found running game with John Avery, and play a "contain" defense against the Bombers newly found sense of offense.

Goose egg for the Renegades in the first quarter... not even a legit chance to score in the quarter. Riders getting into Ottawa territory quite a bit with the running game, but only FGs so far... 6-0 Riders

Ottawa manages 2 points in the first half and have shown no signs of 1 TD let alone 3 in the 2nd half...

Calgary and BC both have impressive drives in the 1st quarter... with about 4:00 left in the 1st, 7-3 Stamps... Stamps look damn good early.

10 points in the 1st quarter is a good start. Both teams successfully moving the ball. FGs are gonna happen... but on the same token, missed FGs that become singles or zeros aren't as good as FGs... so I'll take the BC 3 as opposed to squat and hope that the Stamps offense can keep it going... because Dickinson is gonna get his in this game.
