Biggest damn collapse I've seen in a long time. Embarrassing. MON played 45 minutes and started looking ahead to EDM next week.

They did lose, right? Hope so... Idiots get what they deserve. Wait until this team comes into Montreal later in the season... shouldn't be close (unless Montreal has little to nothing to play for).

I've already deduced that Montreal has the worst coaching staff in the league, as this is the 2nd straight week they've let an inferior team hang around, but in this case, they came back to bite the rest of the way.

Pathetic. Just quit playing. They had a 3rd and 1 with under a minute left up 3 at about the OTT 35 and went SHOTGUN and THREW for it. Missed, of course, and let OTT walk right down the field for an easy FG to tie. MON offense quit even more than the defense did. Just lost the will to score. Got what they deserved. Glad they lost so that they will feel like I do right now.

Previous years MTL has a bit of a rep of celebrating (dancing) during games. Good team with a few hot heads. Very "public" team. The franchise has done a great job with their team.

Moon... obviously this team has had a strong backing behind it and a level head in the front office for years... how many Grey Cups have they won? But if your coaching staff lets this type of thing happen on a consistent basis, something needs to change, and I don't care if that coach has been around for 150 years and won 149 championships... You CAN NOT let a problem persist like this for any lengthy period of time.

Exact replica... Orlando Predators of the AFL. Coach Jay Gruden led the Preds to their only 2 championships... something that long time previous coach Perry Moss never did (though got to the big game SEVERAL times as head coach). This year Orlando had this habit of letting leads slip away, and I was calling for heads to roll the entire end of the season. Sure enough, how did the Preds get bounced from the playoffs... blowing a lead on mental mistakes and the simple factor of GIVING UP.

I know things aren't going to change in Montreal in terms of team chemistry and all of that... but this needs to be addressed if they're serious about making a Grey Cup run this year. Talent doesn't always win championships.

Totally agree with you. Good team with big egos.

.....they should be blowing out these weak teams. MTL can be very dominant.

Calgary has laid a massive egg to this point, and I'm going to assume we don't see two Herculean comebacks on the same night and just go to bed... if I turn up wrong on this one, more power to it, but this week has ended up right about back where it started after the Eskimos did their job. Looking in the RoughRiders tomorrow laying the 3.5, or possibly an in-game tease with under... thoughts are appreciated...

Montreal (-10) @ Ottawa L (-4.20 units)
Montreal @ Ottawa over 27.5 1st half W (+2 units)

Ottawa (+4) vs. Montreal 2nd half W (+0.87 units)
Calgary (ml) vs. Toronto L (-1.5 units)

Weekly record with Edmonton in there... 3-2 (+0.17 units)

ATS: 4-1 (+6.30 units)
Totals: 0-1 (-1.53 units)
Moneylines: 0-2 (-2.00 units)
1st half: 1-0 (+2.00 units)
2nd half: 2-1 (+2.87 units)
Overall: 7-5 (+7.64 units)

I was on Toronto -3 and feel fortunate to come out on top there,, I thought it was gonna be another Mon/Ott game type comeback but fortunately that Toronto D held tight and got a few key turnovers late... Ottawa is not as horrendous as many people make them out to be, they did get off to a bad start in Edmonton and offence has been slow to come around, they'll be a half decent club this year, but there was no excuse for Montreal blowing that... I'm taking a shot with my Sask Riders tomorrow at -3..

Perhaps a % play coming on the Ti-Cats in the 1st half, as general word around local message boards suggests this team is extremely fired up to come out here and not just stick close again, but to throw a win together. Perhaps momentum will come into play from the comeback last week that fell short, and of note, a home team hasn't covered the 1st half line this week... So I'll ponder.

However, I will not ponder my over/under any longer. The Rough Riders defense held Losipeg (hope you don't mind me stealing that Scott... it's awfully funny) in check all night, but they had no further success against the Eskimos, perhaps suggesting that they really are that bad, though the Rough Riders and Eskimos are both in the CFL's elite. However, with Danny McManus at the helm, my guess says that Hamilton may have some issues controling the ball (since it seems like all the dude does is throw TDs or INTs). But with both teams have very good rushing attacks, and the way Hamilton's defense played against a very solid Alouette team last week, I'll take my chances that the Losipeg game was a complete stretch from what we can expect to see from the Rough Riders tonight.

Saskatchewan @ Hamilton under 54.5 (1.5 units -105)

unfortunate for you on both Montreal and Calgary.

Really think that was just a anamoly for Montreal, they will rebound.

As I thought turnovers were a problem for Calgary. Did not think it would be so lopsided but Burris is always a tease and Toronto continues to apply this bend but don't break defense. Their problem defensively was the secondary. Played way to soft a zone. I'm sure they'll adjust. Still Calgary deserved better.

gl 2nite, I lean to the Under also...at this moment anyways.

After picking up Hamilton in week 1, I got what was coming to me... As I said, I'm waiting for those tough times in this league, and I'm probably playing way too many games, but again, I'm just trying to get a feel for this. I feel at this point I've made the right selection more often than not on the terms of percentages, and should I continue to feel this way, I will continue to cap.

Thanks for the words and advice.

Don't mind you borrowing Loseipeg from me. But if the Esks go belly-up, Deadmonton is all mine!

If the Eskimos belly up, a lot of us on here are probably out some cash... so at that point, Deadmonton is all yours... I'll be sure to denote in the future that Losipeg was your invention for when it gets old and we move on to bashing someone else... My guess is that it's still Ottawa that's gonna be the next team bashed...

Hamilton (+1.5) vs. Saskatchewan 1st half (1.5 units -105)

Hamilton vs. Saskatchewan under 27 1st half (1 unit -105)

Under play has been stated as to why... Hamilton 1st half a percentage... was only gonna be 1 unit, but Markie Mark talked me into another half unit.

Not sure about that. After last night we may be calling them the Winagades. However, I think they're in for a serious butt-whooping next week at BC.

And what about the Montreal Bigchokingdogbastardouettes. OK, that's a reach, but it's how I feel about them right now. Although I'm almost sure I'll be on them next week. No one will want them after last night.

Hamilton's D standing tall in the 1st half, but the offense is just putred once again. One nice drive ends with a Danny Mac INT (didn't know he went to FSU until today), but Hamilton grabbed a pick 6 on the insuing possession... 7-7, Riders about to get the ball in decent field position with about 11 minutes left in the 2nd quarter.
