If Tampa's watching this Orlando game, Shane Stafford will be resting in the 2nd half for the Storm, making that 2nd half unbettable. Zona/Vegas still 28-14 with inside 30 seconds left in the half.
Just noticed something incredibly important... Jerrian James isn't suited for Orlando... no wonder they're winning. Preds up 3 scores, New Orleans ball with about 20 secs left in the half.
Chicago's not a bad 2nd half bet. They're up a score and getting the ball, but I'm not screwing with anything at this point since everything looks so well. But as long as the Preds can win, I'll be more than happy with the end of the season.
Jay Taylor has the only blemishes for the Preds in the 1st half with 2 missed PATs and a missed FG as the half expired. But this game was over with that goalline stand and the Preds have never looked back. 28-7 Preds at the half, Voodoo getting the ball to start the half.... Look out New York... look out...
Preds +3 in the 2nd half is SO tempting... it really is... I don't think New Orleans gets to 28 in this game the way the D is playing... but again, I'll lay off and be a big Preds fan instead.
Chicago takes over on downs after Nashville onside kicked and recovered to start the half. 5 scoreless minutes, Chicago looking solid. No score in the 2nd half yet for Vegas either. Turns out neither game is going to be relying on the other, as Vegas is done as long as Chicago wins and Chicago's in as long as Vegas loses... go figure. Sure looks like it's gonna be San Jose/Colorado, LA/Chicago, Georgia/Tampa, and New York/Orlando.
New Orleans with a solid drive to start the half for a TD. Hope the Preds don't back down. Also hope that New Orleans doesn't onside kick, but they almost have to very soon and now would be a nice time to give it a shot.
Hell, we've got a game again... New Orleans scores on a Joe Hamilton fumble... idiot tried to pick up the ball instead of fall on it... Not good... New Orleans with all of the momentum.
Same damn problem the Preds have had ALL season at home... just can't put the foot on the throat. Let Colorado back in it and needed a missed FG to win, let LA back in it and needed a Remy missed PAT to win it, let Georgia back in it and needed a bad call to win the game... just hope this one doesn't turn out the wrong direction for the Preds or their season is over.
*Gulp* Preds catch a horrible break. On 2nd down from the N.O. 5 or so they ran a pitch play and the runner was brought down by his face mask and no call, then on 3rd down, Fryzel was clearly held in the end zone and no call... 31-20 Preds after a Jay Taylor FG.
With Tampa blowing out Columbus, 15 minutes left for someone in Orlando... Preds up 11, New Orleans ball around the Preds 15 going to the 4th quarter. Really loud in Orlando. Hope the crowd gives enough.
New Orleans scores but misses the PAT. Preds getting the ball up 31-26. Could be a big PAT for the cover... but I'm content to see the game go in the win column. Late plays going real well. Chicago up 2 scores with the ball in a way under game.
Good to see Scott Rislov in the game for Nashville. This dude is supposed to be the real deal. Let's see if he can bring the Kitty Kats back... hope not...
In Orlando they just blared "You've gotta fight for your right to party"... seems pretty appropriate...
In fact, Taylor recovered it too... Hero in every sense of the word today, despite the early problems. Preds got in the playoffs last year when backup kicker Jay Wells nailed a FG in LA as time expired, and now might have just put their stamp on the postseason with another critical set by a kicker.
