I have to leave for a little while soon so I will scalp half of my play with

New York Rangers -159, 2.5* (Pinnacle)

I'm doing this because I don't want to leave that amount of money on a play if there is a sudden move that goes against what I think I'll be stuck later with a bad number. I'll be looking to buy another 2 units that would make my standard 1 unit play on Ottawa. So this is what I have now.

New York Rangers -159, 2.5* (Pinnacle)

BTW for the new cappers out there this is a great strategy if your good at predicting line movement to increase your bankroll. It gives you great odds when your right. Ill do the math later if anyone is interested

Ok so here is the math behind all of this and why I try and scalp. OK so let's start with my 4 bets

Ottawa +160, 3* (Pinnacle)
Ottawa +165, 2.5* (5 Dimes)
New York Rangers -159, 2.5* (Pinnacle)
New York Rangers -154, 2* (Pinnacle)

so I have

Ottawa 3* to win 4.80*
Ottawa 2.5* for 4.13*

So in my 2 early bets I have Ottawa Risking 5.5* to win 8.93*

The two late bet I made I had

New York Rangers 3.97* to win 2.5* and
New York Rangers 3.07* to win 2*

so on the other way for the NYR I am risking 7.04* to win 4.5*

So If Ottawa loses I lose 5.5-4.5 = 1*
And if Ottawa wins I get 8.93 -7.04 = 1.89*

So my final bet is Ottawa Risking 1* to win 1.89* so I basically get them at +189

If we compare that at the price atm which is +142 I think you guys can figure out why this is so profitable in the long run

No Problem. So basically tonight if you guys are 100$/bet person you would have made 47$ more scalping when using the final line to compare. Of course the key to all of this is predicting line movement which is definitely the tough thing to do but if you get more right than wrong you gain a definitive advantage in the long run

Nice I just played Toronto too. Good matchup for them especially with Winnipeg coming home after a 4 game trip and some pretty weak numbers at home this year

I agre eI think it's a great spot for them and I think the closing line will be closer to -110 Winnipeg
