The WR position has become a marquee player the way a running back or a QB was in the past. Key is a quality reciever nothing more.
T owens is a great talent with average hands. If Rice were in his prime in this era look out.

He's been on live the past hour here in Tampa on 620 AM, and he is claiming he has not missed any team meetings, functions, etc. He also reiterated that he did tell Gruden he did not care to play for him in 2004, but said he would not go public with it and play out the rest of the year 100%. Guys, and this is exactly what he's done. He didnt speak up publicly, and I've seen the games and he has jeapordized his body on several pass receptions. He hasn't "layed down", he was still giving it his all. Tampa just destroyed their chances of getting anything good in return for him by cutting him off. They should of done like Key and kept quiet the rest of the year in order to receive some nice compensation for him this offseason. Now not only will they not get a nice draft pick or players in return now, they really put themself behind for the future based on the 2 no. 1 picks they gave up to attain him. They could of probably gotten one of those number 1's back for him, but looks as if Gruden won the battle of the egos this time and screwed that up.

Keyshawn is cool! I like the guy and he can come play for my Packers anytime.

Fish, I beleive our man Bret wouldn't mind that. I bet he could envolve him more in the O than Sapp.

Relative to all NFL receivers, Keyshawn was slooooooooow. They didn't get him the ball more often, because he couldn't get open more often. I think he also had one of the lowest, if not the lowest, yards after catch numbers of any receiver in the league.

Why do you think Tampa couldn't unload him?

Sr Muny, I love your post please add more as I am sure you know we could use it around here. If Key had 1/10 Brets drive and love of the game he would be an asset. But I beleive this Packers team does it the right way. Clifton held his tongue and is having a pro bowl year. Sapp talked like a fool and even Destiny's Child Starletts are keeping him at arm's length.

Is irvin off the whitey? He seems fairly lucid, but i know he had a really Serious addiction. If he has conquered it, good for him.
