Just wondering why you didn’t start out if clones?
We are in a weird climate about a mile or so from the coast..The clones I can get come from Corvallis about 60 miles from us haven't been able to take the moisture here in the past..lots of mist and fog. Most mornings my plants are dripping wet last season everything was tented by mid September....it's a struggle here, I've lost crops to mold in the past the one saving grace here is a regular breeze/ great air movement without that wind I'd have no shot at a outdoor crop.

Oh ok,I live in British Columbia,Canada. We we’re world renowned for our bud before it got legalized everywhere in the world and clones are easy to get.Good luck I look forward to following this thread.I use to grow when it was in the grey area but have such down for the last two years.Weed is selling for 600.00 lb here
Canadian weed was nuclear back in the day...I've spent a ton of time in Vancouver working..it's a great city with awesome people.

After 48 hours or so the root will start as a white bump on the tip of the seed..some people will just continue to soak the seed till a 1/4 to 1/2 inch root..

At this point I drain the water and wet a paper towel with the seeds placed in the fold between layers of towel..I like it pretty wet considering they just came outa water.

We had a outdoor show by a river(need a water source) and had the same problem.Lost at least half the crop and it was a beauty, unfortunately it’s not something you can takedown early if it isn’t ready

Yeah I use a jewelry loop to check it around harvest.
Covering it last year saved me..a week later the elk showed up...I got lucky.
Still have about an OZ of last years crop, it's awesome nothing like good outdoor grown with well water.

My not a huge trimmer ....Close up.

Pint sized pot with organic soil topped with 1 inch of coco fiber.
Tap root down buried in the coco, cover lightly with loose fiber about 1/4 below the surface.
Water but don't soak....in about two days they should surface..Then a light bar goes up for 18 hours of light per day till being planted outdoors.
