Never say never... But we have taken many precautions to lessen the possibility of this. I have 20k+ in chips and there have been numerous occasions where we have ran out of chips and had to let cash play. When there is that type of cash thought to be in a building, there is always a concern of robbery.

Playing in the nice new poker room at Greektown. Sit down playing 1/2 200 buy in. I'm in seat 1. Chip up to about 360 in an hour. All the while this want to be Italian dude never shuts up insults everyone at the tabl over and over.I get into a hand with him. I'm on button, He bets out 7 about 4 peaple call him I just call with 9's.flop comes 775. He leads out for 25 folds all the way to me. I mini raise him. He starts insulting me I lol and say is this a call. He calls, turn.....oh oh oh the turn the best looking 9 I have ever seen. He leads out again this time for 50. I mini raise his ass again. He does the same thing yelling that I'm a donk and don't know shit and he should just shove and show me whats up. LMAO I am rolling on the inside all I do is smile and shake my head and say well I guess I didn't think you have a hand but it seems like you might have something this time.
He says damn right I got something and pushes his remaining stack in like Phil Hellmuth. I sit there for a few seconds and ponder it lol I say I call but pleasew get a good count on that mess. He had me covered so I said ok here's my chips. At Greektown you don't have to turn the cards over till the end of the hand. He flips over K's and say see that jerkoff I got a strong hand. I say yea shit thats more than I thought you had. River comes and it does not help him. He needed a K.
I without him seeimg just without any noise turn my cards up. He is all happy with himself and starts to take his chips back that are in front of him. I say dealer what the hell is he doing. She says Sir why are you grabbing chips? He says the pot is mine He only has 2 pair. LOL She says noooooo sir he has a fullhouse..
He explodes and wants his chips back saying I was a DB and didn't show his hand. LOL So anyway I collect a 700 pot.
He starts yelling at me and says he will take my hat off and shove it up my ass. I say oh realy well after I am done stacking your chips you can give it a try.I start stacking the chips not expecting this asshole to do anything. Well he did he comes aroung the dealer and grabs my hat. This hat means something to me. My gradfather gave me this hat. Its a Derby hat 132nd year. I explode up and he thought he was going to be tough guy and says yeah I got your hat. I grab him by the throat and pin him down on the table behind us and say I got your throat and I will kill you. He just started saying sorry man sorry man. I said fuck you sorry I'll fucking kill you and not lose any sleep over this at all. LOL Floor is on me in seconds and says what the fuck are you 2 doing. Everyone backed my story and he was told to leave and not come back.

It did feel good to get some anger out of me. LOL and some chips. Played and hour or so more and left with a total of 760 or so. Gave the dealer at the time 20 and said thanks.

I'm not going to one up the original poster with a story about a fight.
I will lend some advice:
if my wife tells me she got into a fight at the grocery store I would expect it to involve a lot of "shit talking" and "dirty looks"... well basically it would sound just like your "fight" story.
If my 10 year old tells me he got into a fight at school I would expect it to involve a lot of shit talking, pushing and maybe a punch or two.
If my buddy tells me he got into a fight at a casino I would expect, shit talking, shoving, body slams, punches, security guards, cops... bail money and court dates.

what the blinds?? is it multiple tables?
Am I right in assuming there isn't a casino that close to you?
This is what I play in around here. He has cameras outside and inside but no security guard. I don't know how much is thrown at the cash game, but I know it's too rich for me. I only play in tournaments.
The game is a 1-2-5 mandatory straddle from the previous pot winner. There are 2 tables, that are usually full (sometimes waiters.) the game plays like a casino 2-5 on steroids. The closest casino is 2+ hours. The building is surrounded by cameras along with a double door that is remotely locked.
Too many snacks. Poker players eat like adolescents.
