Sort of reminds me of what I was doing last year GoSooners. Middle of the road except my best plays. I still think your info is gold. I'm sure there will be better weeks but if I was in your situation, I'd try to raise my standards and play just the strongest plays out of the whole lot. There are just too many factors to cover on every game. Write up lots of opinions and leans on the rest. But that's me.

I especially like your reasoning and informed intelligent approach. You are one of the top guys here in my book. I hope you know that.

When all was said and done I only lost 5 units yesterday..I thought it was worse because of the way the day started..Jim Harbraugh didn't help my cause last night...That asshole. I looked at the ESPN scoreboard and saw the score was 16-10 Stanford with 45 seconds left and I was about ready to chalk that one off as a win. I don't know what these coaches think they have to gain by not taking a knee. I know they obviously haven't read the book "how to win friends and influence people".

The two teams that hit our Best Bet plays were definitely the running dogs in both games....Marshall outrushed Southern Miss 201-123. And Toledo outrushed Fresno 297-189. The Fresno defense was just flat out tired in the 4th quarter of that game, and were lucky they got out of there with a win.

Conan...This is what I'm going to do..I saw alot of inticing games yesterday. But as you know it's all about quality not quanity.

I wouldn't even mess with the totals for this game. I think Toledo not only covers they win this game. This is a very bad situational spot for Fresno. How would you feel if your BCS hopes and dreams were taken away from you, and then you had to get up next week and travel through a couple timezones to play a team that has won something like 43 of their last 50 games in the Glass Bowl, and should be sky high for their first home game of the year. On top of that this is a sandwich spot for Fresno having to go back and play UCLA. There is no way Fresno is going to be up for this game. They might be able to limp through and cover. But I doubt it..I really contemplated on making this a Best Bet play because of this strong angle..But I decided it almost looks too easy and made it a three star. Also Toledo could end up being the running dogs here..It's very close on the number.

To Sooners: Good research and analysis on games I was just barely profitable with the elimination of Tenn, Ole Miss and Marshall. (I also took Minn 2nd half to off set that pittiful FL ATL team..) BOL this coming week. Will be out of reach this week after Weds but will contribute to what I see before then.. Wondering what the USC and LOU lines will be?

To Sooners: Good research and analysis on games I was just barely profitable with the elimination of Tenn, Ole Miss and Marshall. (I also took Minn 2nd half to off set that pittiful FL ATL team..) BOL this coming week. Will be out of reach this week after Weds but will contribute to what I see before then.. Wondering what the USC and LOU lines will be?

Ole Miss in a way was a bad beat for me. I still think I was on the right side with this team.. They had about 400 total yards to Vandy's 200. But 5 turnovers completely killed the Rebs. So I'm going to chalk that game up to bad luck..As for FAU, I agree with you. They are a bad team. This is the first team that I've really been off with. What is a little puzzling is they have virtually the same team returning off of an 8-5 team..But one stat that does bring up caution flags with this team is +18 turnover margin they had last season. Plus 4 games that were decided by a TD or less, along with 2 OT games. So without those turnovers this team could have been 5-8 as 8-5. Anyway this is more than likely the last time I bet on FAU this season...In fact some of the other teams I would have trouble betting on right now are UCLA, UAB, Army, WSU, FAU, Rutgers (as favorites), Tennessee, Virginia and SMU.
