I must agree with Prodigy, Illinios has a horrible defense especially against Minnesota's defense. The way I have it figured is:

Formula #1: Illinios by 0.1 point
Formula #2: Illinios by 1.0 point
Formula #3: Minnesota by 5.23 points
Formula #4: Minnesota by 5.0 points

Should be a close game.

I've been betting the last few weeks based on nothing more than the posted number and public perception. Not an original idea I know, but it's the only thing working for me. The 13 point spreads stinks here. ILL has been nationally televised almost every conference game, the last being an absolute beating of (a crappy) Mich team. Minnesota exists solely on the Big Ten network unless Ohio St. is beating the crap out of them. 13 says to me "Hey, you saw how good ILL is, and they only have to win by 2 measly touchdowns...remember Michigan last week?"

After watching my beloved Illini I feel pretty confident saying +13 is the play, might be as close as a field goal.

Talked myself right out of Minny after this thread, LOL. I don't blame HB though, he's been solid through the years, just bad timing on my part. I was going to start a thread asking for opinions about these teams when I saw this one. All the numbers pointed to Minny keeping it close but I don't see these teams all that much, should have stuck to my guns it looks like. We'll get the next one boys.
